They're calling for 95 degrees and high humidity. Extreme weather can affect the game but I'm not sure if it really gives one team an advantage. Every team is made up of players from all over the country, some from cold weather areas and some from warm areas. I'm sure there are players on the Niners that grew up in the south and know what it's like. I remember the Niners going into Chicago or other cold ares and winning games when everyone said the cold would kill them. If the players are in good condition they will be okay. Nobody is really comfortable in that kind of heat.

Kyle & Lynch Should have had the team in Tampa by Wednesday to acclimate to the weather and to adjust to the time. I really don't understand why they don't do this. The team has the money and it's just common sense you need to acclimate the body to where you're playing and what's a few extra days there. I just don't understand

Sounds like their secondary might be a great way to help JG get his groove back too.

3hrs sitting in that stadium under the FL 95 degree heat to watch the game is grueling enough. I'd rather stay home or go to a sports bar.

Wuss

I love going to live games no matter the weather if I'm sitting a good section, no obnoxious commentators, able to see the whole field and sidelines. Driving 3 hours northwest to see the Niners kickoff the season and Jimmys official return. Cant wait

There is no better sunscreen than sitting in a bar.

We must be neighbors.

which parts of FL you guys stay at if you dont mind me asking?

I live in the Ft.Lauderdale/Broward area

Just north of Orlando. 1hr 30mins drive to Tampa. I seriously thought about purchasing a ticket couple of months ago. 3hrs in that heat turns me away. You guys crazy if you're going. Have a helluva time

Crap! Small world, I live east in Dania/Hollywood
D-line needs to dominate and get pressure preventing all the deep passes Tampa loves. Winston gets time and they will score.

I am interested to see how Jimmy G plays after nearly a year off and various new players on the offense.
Tampa best known for the strip clubs if you don't already know

FL's weather is in the 90s like 9 months out of the year. Would not mind living in a milder climate when I can afford it.

People in New Orleans told me the same thing when I went there for a game. I would ask how they can live in that heat and they would say they couldn't afford to move or their family and job were there. Many of them are poor and can't afford to travel so they don't know how much better it can be. No place is perfect. I left the Bay Area after living almost my whole life there because of the cost of living and the traffic. The nice weather wasn't enough to offset the bad stuff.Just too many people. Still better than Florida.

Florida beaches destroy any beach that California has to offer especially NoCal just like cold winters in New York or Chicago, people adjust

Wall-to-wall people, jellyfish everywhere in the water and on the beach, skyscrapers filled with multi-million dollar condos just beyond the beach...

Been there seen it done it. Yuck.

Now if you're talking about the beaches on the panhandle on the Gulf of Mexico, now those are spectacular and if you stay out of Mississippi, relatively undeveloped.

Panhandle is gorgeous, you should also check out the treasure coast between Vero Beach & Coco beach, it's amazing in the springtime, they Keys are great too, Miami / Ft lauderdale has gotten bad in recent years with the over crowded beaches and seaweed. Jellyfish and man o' war can either be really bad or nonexistent, I guess it depends on the season
