Why the hell was Grant and his dad Lowell Cohn both saying on Twitter Nick Bosa hasn't decided if he's going to play this week or not. Or at least they implied that after the coaches have been saying he's ready to play. Those guys are absolute morons.

I confronted Grant about that sh*t but the guy just goes full throttle troll mode.
Bosa saying he's taking it day by day is in no way implying that he's going to "decide" when he wants to play.
Cohn is pushing the narrative that Bosa will play when he wants to which sure as sh*t doesn't fit with the reports that Bosa has been busting his ass to get back for week 1.
So weak.

Evans missed practice Friday due to illness.
Coach Bruce Arians said Evans caught a bug, but he's hopeful it won't impact the receiver's availability for Sunday. Arians added guys who have caught the illness have recovered in 24 hours. If that timeline holds, Evans should be ready for Sunday.
Per NFL.COM
I am starting him for Fantasy, but man, Idgaf. I hope he gets a 0 and gets a stomach flu.
Need all the help we can get.
Same...I'll always take the L in FF if it means 49ers win IRL.
Then again I'm also starting Jimmy G, Kittle and Breida so.....I'll gladly take the 49ers win IRL and a sh*t ton of points from those 3 to win in FF as well

Base on the optimism in this forum, if the Niners lose the game, the season is over.

It's a long season but losing this game will give us a point of reference as to where this rebuild is at in 2019.

Forget losing. Based on some in here if we don't win like 38-3 the season might be over.

I'm always hesitant to base the entire season on the first game of the year. Remember 2015 when we won the first game of the year under Tomsula and everyone was raving about how much, "better" the team was than under Harbaugh?......Yeah, that was fun....lol
If the first game was a predictor of things both the Packers and the Bears are gonna be awful this year(or have the top 2 defenses, lol).

... They'll open with two road games for the first time since 1997.https://t.co/6azB2IrJQO
Yikes at those stats.
I like Maiocco's take:
Consecutive #49ers losses in the East:
— Matt Maiocco (@MaioccoNBCS) September 6, 2019
2018-TB
2017-Phi, Wash, Ind
2016-Atl, Mia, Buff, Car
2015-Det, Cle, NYG, Pitt
Why do you suppose that is?
A) The 49ers are doing something wrong, not being able to travel and win.
Or, my guess ...
B) They've just been a bad football team.

It's a long season but losing this game will give us a point of reference as to where this rebuild is at in 2019.
Last year in week one :
Saints lost to the Bucs. Finished 13-3.
Colts lost to the Bengals. Finished 10-6.
Everyone thought the Vikes would be a playoff team again coming off a 13 win season. They lost a close shootout to the Rams. Finished 8-7-1.
Week one is still week one, results in week one don't necessarily make or break you. It is too small a sample size to use as a point of reference in all honesty.

thing is unless we improve immensely as the season goes the schedule gets crazy difficult late in the season. If were a team that can without a doubt compete with the top teams then sure starting 0-1 wont be the biggest issue but we still dont know what team we have. Thats why for a team that has started horrible since shanahn took over and cant win on the road starting 2-0 against teams you should beat would be huge.
