I'd say B but there is clearly history of teams struggling to play away games across the country.
Jags in their AFC Championship season struggled big time flying across the country...including getting owned by us that year.
But end of the day you play who is on your schedule and that's where the really good teams stand out. They beat teams who they should regardless of where the game is.
On paper at least we're better than Tampa. Unless we get completely outcoached we SHOULD win that game. I certainly don't think it should be a blowout for the very reason mentioned above but I think we matchup well against them. Would've liked to not face Vea as part of that DL but we certainly have the leg up in the pass rush department.
Hopefully we go out there and get the job done then repeat against Cinci week 2.

Forgot just how much young talent Tampa has on defense. That coupled with Arians, Bowles and Evans on offense is going to make for a very tough game. Not feeling great about it.

who other than vita vea on the dline worries you? theres no JPP and i havent been worried about suh since he was in detroit. lavonte david is legit and their rookie lb from lsu which im forgetting all of a sudden has a chance to be special but hes still a rookie. and theres no question their secondary can be torched, hargreaves is their best player there but hes not even great.

Thats why for a team that has started horrible since shanahn took over and cant win on the road starting 2-0 against teams you should beat would be huge.
Oh I agree, winning would be a big thing for us. Getting off to a 2-0 start would go a long way with building confidence.

Young talent doesn't always mean good things. Bad thing is we can't get a great read on them because they have new coaches in place. Good thing is we can use the young player's lack of experience against them.

Donkey Kong Suh worries me but mostly because he plays super dirty. But he has had moments where he really picks his game up. Hopefully in that heat that will not be the case :D.
That's where I like our DL depth much more. We can rotate guys more so none of them are over tired late in the game hopefully.

Not specific to front 7. But when you are talking Vea, then Suh then David and White the next level that's nothing to sneeze at. Their secondary is loaded with high picks as well. Just with how good of a DC Bowles is and how good Arians is makes me a little nervous

Every offense goes to their bread and butter more often than not. Expect a lot of Breida, Coleman, and Kittle. Pettis and Deebo will be sprinkled in but don't expect them to be carrying the offense Sunday.

That's the usual idea as a visiting team. Established the run game to help your qb and the passing game. But if that run game isn't working, Jimmy and the WR need to step up quick.
The Packers last night was trying to run the ball initially, it went nowhere. They were consistently in 3rd&5+. Rodgers finally pulled his usual something out of nothing, and got a TD drive.

Can't wait to see:
1. The 49er defensive line wreck havoc
2. Breida/Coleman 1-2 punch
3. All of our rookies

Only one I disagree with is the 49ers RBs vs Bucs LBS. I would say its a push at best or even Bucs have the advantage. White and David is about as good as it gets as a LB tandem.
