lol. It's a nice video of many of the 49er runs. Props to whoever put that together. When the run is blocked well, it looks like a well coordinated dance routine involving the OL, TE, and FB. I think the 49ers led the league in RB 'yards before contact'. Between the good blocking and the misdirection element, the 49er run game was on another level all throughout 2019.
Come NY microwave society bro....we need 5 minutes or less

^^ I don't know why offenses don't use motion more often. Makes things easier for the QB and sometimes it forces the defense to communicate presnap checks, which can lead to miscommunication and another advantage for the offense.

I wonder if that 69% is a summation of both shifts and motions. I can buy it is that's the case but that seems rather high if it's just "motion". "Motion" being defined as a guy moving at the snap. I'm gonna assume it's both shifts and motions together.

The Tite front is like the polar opposite of the wide9. Notice how the two DEs are inside of the OTs? Wide9 funnels runs to the inside with those DEs aligned way outside of the OTs. Tite looks to spill runs to the outside by clogging up the interior OL. Big nickel and Tite are two independent things as Tite just describes how the 3 DL line up (4-0-4 techniques). You can be in a Tite front and not be in Big Nickel, and vice versa. I doubt Saleh would incorporate Tite fronts into the playbook solely for the two games versus ARI since Tite is used to combat spread looks, which ARI is known for. Tite sacrifices pass rush for better interior run defense - inside zone which many spread teams like to use. The team made a conscious decision last year to simplify things and fully commit to wide9.
Is there going to be a thread for 2020 season?

Yes. The NFL is slow in releasing the Coaches Film. Even the game from Thursday isn't available yet. At least not for me.
