Broheems and Sisteems, we won in Seattle. There is not greater feeling for me than beating the toots in the Clink.
Not only that, we deprived them of seeing their team play live for at least 9 months. That's amazing.
Watching the film, it felt like we dropped a 40 burger on them with how well the offense moved the ball, almost at will. I've never seen Seattle's defense get completely owned by our offense and especially our QB. Jimmy was darn near perfect in this game and played one of the top 3 games I've ever seen one of our QB's play, the other 2 are close in comparison and are other games by him.
Pretty much, there's no doubt he's the best QB we've had since Steve. We haven't seen a guy throw even with 500 yards of what he's done in 17 years....and that's with "bad" games and "underperforming" games according to some.
Look out for us in the playoffs. We're getting healthier, unlike the other teams in the playoffs, most likely and this offense is humming.

This is beautiful 😭

Absolutely

Some, yea and the very last play I cover is about that. It's the last td we score and it's a power-gap play.
Probably the funnest game to review. Good s**t as usual!

It's amazing how fast Jimmy G gets through his progressions
Love it, jonnydel. Can't wait to see what Kyle dials up in the playoffs with rested guys and more time to prepare.
Jonny, fantastic as usual, only better. Showing how JG works their D is awesome. You have really made this not just enjoyable and fun but a great learning experience also...each and every week. But this was a capper. Go 9ers. And thanks again, JD.

jonny,
In your preview video for this game, you suggested the Niners run more power. Did this happen?

He highlights Mostert's TF run in the video.

I credit Jimmy for making 49ers film fun to watch again. Watching Beathard get beat to S*** in year 1 and 2 was awful. It really helped that he capped the year with a nearly flawless performance. Like, it's hard to describe what a difference in pocket passing he is from, say, Kaepernick. CK I was always wanting him to get through progressions quicker, look off defenders all the things JG does so well. It's watching the passing game as it's designed to be.
Love it! Really liked how Seattle sold out on the weakside counter fake to Deebo.

Amazing going from CK to Jimmy G. CK would struggle to read a defense, and its easy to see why Kyle didn't think he'd be a good fit for this offense. I remember when crabtree just left the niners and in an interview he said he hoped CK would keep his head in the books to study the playbook.
Johnny, let's see what adjustments Seattle made in the 2nd half to be able to move the ball. If we play them again in the playoffs, what counter adjustments should we make?

Only reason the game was as close as it was is bc of the Samuel fumble early in the game. Not a knock on him as the DB put a really good hit on him. But if we go up 17-0 instead of 13-0, and everything else stays the same, the game is completely different and we dont have to sweat at the end.

17-0, 17-7, 24-7, 24-14, 31-14, 31-21.

We're up 10 instead of being up 5 (missed 2pt conversion) with the ball. Game is pretty much over. Just one small play that made a really big difference.

Another factor that made this closer than expected was a shanked punt that gave Seattle a short field to score one of the their late touchdowns. If they had to take the time to make 2 more first downs, they would not have been able to run so many plays in the red zone at the end.

Thanks, Jon for taking the time on a holiday to make the videos and help us with "49er withdrawal" this week. It actually feels like somewhat of a letdown to watch so many enormously exciting games week after week and now having to watch other teams play this week.

The adjustment is Dee Ford. I feel the need, the need for speed.
