Agree with the call

Not with the ejection

Right! That was a normal every tackle growing up. 😂

When you don't trust your quarterback in play calling, you are playing the wrong qb.

I know I'm in the minority, but if the coaches cliche is "who gives us the best chance to win", then give Jimmy more time.

Uh, we won, so...

That's in the rear view mirror. I want to win next week. Jimmy missed Way too many passes, and the D saved us this week.

I've long said if you are going to give most the reps to Nick in preseason, and Jimmy hasn't played in so long, Nick will be our best chance to win at the start of the season. You want to give Jimmy confidence. With Mullens' stats identical, you don't need to rush Jimmy.

Did I mention Jimmy missed too many passes, one of which looked to me like a long pass and run for a TD? I say Mullens hits that roll out easy pass.

You must be awesome to be around at parties.

Good logical argument. Back at you.

Look, I love Jimmy, and I think his leadership abilities are tops in the league. He is our quarterback.

It takes players a while to shake off an ACL, as well as substantial time off, and Jimmy has shown that.

All I'm saying is that Mullens is more game ready right now. Disagree all you want, but I need to see more to change my mind.

And you'd see more by benching him? You're so contradicting yourself.

My post game thoughts are that there is both good and bad.

Bad:
The offense was sluggish and the play calling was poor and predictable. We left a lot of plays and points on the field. The penalties (although many were b******t) are a problem. Jimmy was off all day. The WRs were off too. The run game sucked. The OL got no push. Shanahan had a bad game. Going for the 57 yard FG instead of punting was dumb. Tackling was sloppy at times.

Good:
Bosa and Ford were getting pressure and got sacks.
witherspoon looked very good
there was an attitude to take the football away-we got 4 turnovers, forced another fumble and dropped two other picks
sloppy game but we won. We do not win this game last year

Pretty much, but I think going for the FG was a good idea, it was so close.

Yeah I watched him in warm ups and told people sitting next to me it looked like 57 was his maximum. A half yard closer or if the ball hits at a different angle, it goes in. Just tough luck.

i agree with the call 100% and I'm glad they now toss players out. that was clearly targeting

What is a defender supposed to do when Jameis "slides" last second. And by slide I mean go in sideways. I also though the call on TB late was BS too.

Fred Warner packing that peanut punch was pretty awesome

We do not win this game the last five years!

we all knew he was gonna slide. what did you think? he was gonna stiff arm kwon and juke his way to the endzone? and plus, he didnt have to dive at him head first

He came to us mid season after being "benched" behind TB and then CJ, and he looked pretty good.

I don't think he looked that good, I think he looked like a back up quarterback
