Was the same way in 2011. Don't think most people bought in all year until we actually beat Pittsburgh in December. Got a little love after beating Detroit but still a ton of people doubted us and pointed to luck/schedule.

Statement game boys and girls. I see no way the Steelers have the ammo to beat us. Rudolph will look more like Beathard and Vance doesn't scare anyone. The run game will get locked up early and often. My only concern is JuJu, he'll get his but won't be nearly enough.

I think we win but I've watched football long enough that I will never say statements like that.

I remember thinking Pats in 01 had NO chance against the Rams. I thought the Giants would get smoked by the Pats in 07 and plenty other times a much more talented team lost to an "inferior" team.

Let's get that W and answer more questions about where we are and if we can win games consistently.

This game has me nervous, granted that is mostly from bad memories. When I was much younger, our undefeated Niners were hosting a meh Steelers team and ended up losing badly to them. That was also the first time I realized what a crazy Fanatic was RE sports as my dad lost it that day. Everyone hid from him the rest of the week.

Granted that was the only game the Niners lost that year but that day left a lasting impression on me, so I always am nervous when we play the Steelers.

I like it like that better i dont want our team getting cocky i want them to play with a chip on their shoulder. Im not underestimating this steeler team but my predication is 31-13 Niners.

I love 49er wins. Analysts are stupid and I expect even if we win the Browns will be beating us next week. I just want another win so they're a little closer to making that pencil neck geek Rank look even more like a clown. Vegas has them at 6.5 point favorites. Enough said. Time to drop the hammer boys.
