I thought the Browns played the Rams to a standstill. The Rams has to work to get the win in a low scoring game. The Browns will be as tough as Pittsburgh. I think if we can clean up our turnovers we will win against the Browns by 35 to 17. If the Browns have a porous oline we should have 5 sacks since Bosa and Ford will be able to rest their legs and be fully rested for the Browns. The Rams will be our big test.

Yeah, we should be 4-0 heading into the Rams.

Mayfield is a lot more elusive than Rudolph. He's a superior quarterback and has superior weapons to the Steelers. We need to make sure we finish sacks or he could find a way to burn us a few times.

My prediction?

49ers 30, Browns 22

If we have Verrett guarding OBJ, we will lose.

You forgot overrated before superior...lol. The only thing Browns have over us are WRs.

Myles Garrett is better than Bosa or Ford, but Bosa + Ford is better than Garrett + Vernon.

And he does it early, rather than standing tough in the pocket where he still has both sides of the field to play with. Flush him, and flood that side of the defense.

To be fair, his Oline sucks balls. Alex Smith could roll right on every play and at least make a throw. That game against the Rams, between the playcalling and Baker was hard to watch.

That's not fair. Mayfield was leaving the pocket Before the pocket broke down. That's something I'm sure we're going to game plan for.

If you are saying Alex typically left the pocket Early, not what he did when he did leave the pocket, I disagree, and you can make your case, but I suggest you put it in the Alex Smith thread.

True, but as a whole group including depth, I'll take our DL group no doubt.

I thought Mayfield only started abandoning the "pocket" and rolling to his right because there was no pocket. What there was was 280 pounds of Aaron Donald staring him in the face, coming right at him with a hungry look in his eyes. Again and again and again. I'd get happy feet, too, real happy.

No NFL game is promised to anyone.

I like the chances.

I suspect Cleveland will put up a fight.

Running game will wear them down at the end and Gould will seal the deal.

I think the biggest mismatch will be our dline vs their Oline. I've been watching them and so far they have been very disappointing. Their coach is awful lol.
What's the betting line?

I think we can outcoach them. I am pretty confident but these turnovers need to stop.

Thats our biggest advantage right now. Our coaching staff is playing some chess right now and a lot of these others still playing candyland, not even checkers

Yeah Bosa!

Also nice that they're playing a tough division game against the Ravens this week before they play us coming back from the bye.

The weakness for the Browns right now is play calling and designing plays, since Kitchens now the HC and not the OC. The other is that right now Manziel is trying so hard to go for the big plays and pushing the ball down the field and not taking what is given to him and trying to march them down. He is impatient because of last year.

Hopefully he doesn't step back and take a deep breath and slow himself down.
