The Browns listed their starting cornerbacks Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams as questionable for Monday despite not practicing this week with hamstring injuries. Same as last week before missing the game vs. the Ravens.

Jimmy g has looked like s**t this year, so hopefully he just manages not to f**k up and turn it over , and let our defense win it for us again

Yeah, there's nothing like a 69% completion percentage, passing yardage that prorates out to 3941 for a 16 game season, a 96.3 QBR, and a 3-0 record that makes you realize what you're missing by not having Mitchell Trubisky.

Good news: Dee Ford is practicing. He's going to play.

Also, Witherspoon was out early getting work in without a boot on. He looks ahead of schedule.

Excellent news about Spoon. The sooner he gets back on the field, the better for the team and the secondary.
On another note, I hope Shanahan flips the script this game and comes out throwing the ball instead of running. The Browns will be expecting run first, so if we go in with a quick passing attack it may go a long way to opening up the running lanes for Breida, Mostert and Coleman.

I have faith that Shanahan will descend into his dark little workshop and scheme up something tricky that will outfox the Browns. A little bit more shaky on the offense to execute but given last time I think they will be cycling up on their play and will deliver. But a tight game. 49ers by 10 to 14 points
That's what I am thinking. Gotta clean up the offense.
Generally when you see a team have two early passes bounce right out of their hands, it makes one think of being over- amped. I think they wanted to stick it on Pitts so bad they just couldn't wait. Both those first two INTs should have been caught. I think it just took a quarter for the O ball handlers to settle down, concentrate and perform. Both guys took their eyes off the ball is my recollection, but INTs count against JG not the receivers. Still don't get the reasoning behind that but .... so i hope we come out for Browns, ready, confiident, but thinking in the moment, not 3 plays hence. The fact we won a game we by rights should have lost....tells you how bad we wanted that game.
I don't ever recall seeing a team make 5 T.Os and then win. So despite early game micues our guys hunkered down and won it. Still, an amazing feat against a really stout Pitts D.
The 1981 NFC Championship game we had six turnovers. First Niners game I ever watched and got into. My grandpa was a huge Notre Dame fan, and loved Joe Montana, but was a huge cowboys fan. He spent the game suffering through a moral dilemma, lol. He soooo wished the Cowboys had drafted Montana. It takes some talent to overcome that many turnovers, and some favor from the football gods.

Yeah, I agree. ShanaLynch got a team without divas. Each player wants to prove himself. The downside is some try a bit too hard, and that creates turnovers, penalties, missed assignments. This team just needs a history or culture of winning. In the first Super Bowl year, the Niners took most of 1981 to realize how good they were. As someone mentioned, the Niners had six TOs in the championship game with the Cowboys. Throughout the Super Bowl years, they didn't panic when thing didn't go well.

He's looked better every week. Executing Kyle's game plan.
Nothing to complain about at this point... he did look like s**t in Tampa, but he's improved and I expect him to continue to improve

There is nothing wrong with JG. He is one of the best QBs around. He was hardly responsible for the turn overs. How can he be blamed for bad timing on the snap? Or some silly play calls by Kyle? Or an OL being pushed around to allow to much pressure in the pocket? JG is extremely smart with the scheme and has been improving. It was impressive to see him pick it up in the second half last week after the turn overs and get on with it and take us to the win.
Perhaps go and look at Jonnydels analysis of the plays and you might see JG in a different light.
