That might be true but the only way to avoid them is don't watch TV. Sunday, Sunday night, Thursday night and Monday night, At least 30 college games on tv every Saturday plus Thursday and Friday games. I love football but I even get tired of watching. All the stoppage from commercials and replays make it even harder to watch. We now spend more time watching officials review plays than the actual plays. That's true not an opinion. I was all for replay at first but they need to do something about the constant stoppage of play. It sucks. The actual time of action is between 11 and 15 minutes during a 3 1/2 hour broadcast.

I rarely watch any sporting events live anymore. Time is too precious, so I will DVR and watch the entire game in under an hour. I even forward through the dead time between plays, unless the previous play I want to see on replay. All the talking heads are worthless as well, so halftime goes on super fast forward. I do it with basketball too.

It will be interesting what the defensive emphasis, if any, is.

Hopefully, the emphasis is stopping the run with the front four and dropping seven into coverage.

They can run because saleh will be paranoid about Beckham and Landry. He won't bring up that extra man in the box tomorrow

We haven't needed to blitz to create pressure, and we don't need an 8th in the box to stop the run. DeFo and AA have been beating duos all year. Only D in the league w/no rushing TDs or 100 yd rushers. And Chubb is deceptively fast, sure, but our whole team is fast.

I'm not saying this game is a gimmie by any means. CLE is a talented squad. I just can't envision their lousy Oline doing much tomorrow against one of the best fronts in the league, nor do I see Baker taking the game over with no ground game. I could be wrong.

Their receivers are excellent; they'll get a few chunk plays. I just don't think it'll be enough.

I say let 'em run. Make them beat us on the ground. I don't want Beckham and Landry tearing us up, especially with Spoon out.

If you "let 'em run," it's over. Lose the field position battle. Lose the ToP battle. Lose the turnover battle. Lose the game.

Their offensive line is bad. Our front seven is the best since the Willis era. They will contain Chubb and put CLE consistently behind the sticks. Make them convert a dozen 3rd-and-longs if they hope to win. Make Baker throw 60 times with Ford, Bosa, and Co. chasing him all over the field.

Landry and OBJ are better, much better, than our secondary and Cleveland can score quickly. You don't automatically lose because you focus on defending the pass. In a passing league.

If your going to forgo so much of the experience you might as well just watch the highlight reel.

Fair. Their WRs are exceptional. I just think their Oline gets their lunch money taken all night tomorrow--lots of 1 yard runs for Chubb, lots of 3rd-and-longs, lots of grass stains on the back of Baker's jersey. Doesn't matter whose lined up outside when you're behind the sticks all day and your QB is running for his life.

They might have the worst guards in the league and their tackles aren't much better. If you're Freddie Kitchens, who are you going to double team?

I expect a lot of draws, screens, and hitches tryna slow down our rush because CLE's Oline sure as hell won't.

Mayfield is competent enough to get it to them deep more then 50% of the time, which is dangerous.
Mayfield can't even flip a breaker correctly.

I'm good with it. In fact, I hope he throws 60 times tomorrow. That means they can't run the ball and they're behind all game.

5 sacks, 3 INTs, and -10m ToP if he drops back 60 times tomorrow.

You ever see someone act nervous and swallow their spit right before they answer a question?

That's how I imagine Brownie-Baker-Willow when asked, "do you think you can pull off the upset against the 49ers?"

I am sure they will be carrying around a spare change of underwear when contemplating that proposition.

Saleh has to figure out how to contain Chubb in their running game while on the other hand keeping Mayfield from getting it out to his WRs particularly Beckham. (Wish we traded for him), That is the double bind Saleh is in.
when are we wearing the throwbacks?
