Is there a real Bias against the 49ers in the NFL and Media

Chris Simms said in his podcast that he thinks that the 49ers are favorites and have the best team but like he said that Mahomes kid is the ultimate equalizer.

I am really tired of hearing this kind of garbage... if you want to press a biased opinion, you can make up a world of excuses. Jerry Rice was a system receiver... I mean, he had Walsh and Montana and Young... etc etc... they just need to STFU

I think this thread is rather absurd. Don't the 1994 NFC championship game. That was the biggest sham in the history of the NFL at the time. (Surpassed by the 2006 AFC championship game).

The officiating has been quite fine this postseason.

To me, this just crystallizes the media bias.



For me this was blatant bias. I mean, the talk was mostly about what KC needed to do to win. For them, it's all but a forgone conclusion that Chiefs are gonna stop our run because they stopped the simple run game of the Titans. It's a forgone conclusion that the 49ers won't be able to score with the Chiefs should they stop our run game (doubtful). They talked of the Chiefs speed as if the 49ers have no speed at all. While the Chiefs do have speed on offense the 49ers have speed on offense and defense. The media bias is amazingly suffocating. Listening to them talk you'd think that the 49ers just lucked their way into the Super Bowl.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: the media, the NFL, and reporters like Nick Wright are gonna be butt-hurt if the 49ers beat the Chiefs, especially if we do so in the same fashion we did the Vikings and Packers. If the 49ers have a 200+ yard day on the ground look for talks for the rules to be changed, and this time the NFL won't wait around for the 49ers to create another 10 year dynasty with Shanny's run scheme to stop them either.

my guy!! never listen to what that joker nick wright has to say about any team going against KC. Hes from KC and an avid Chiefs homer and Mahomes #1 fan boy. I never pay attention what he says when its some team going against the Chiefs, plus hes been hating on the 9ers all year and was a massive Warriors hater during the KD era and when they were winning before him.

I totally agree. But look at what they are saying over on First Take, and what they've been saying on Undisputed. It's the same sh!t, even worse. According to them the 49ers don't have a chance. It's clear the media DON'T want the 49ers winning, at all. Let them tell it Jimmy G. is sorry and the 49ers have been nothing but lucky. There's gonna be a lot of butt-hurt long faces on Monday morning next week. And I hope Sherm name names of all the reporters who's been sh!tting on Jimmy G. and the 49ers all season.

I have nothing against Patric Mahomes and don't wanna see him hurt, but I do hope our defense really punishes him. I don't mean just hit him a lot, put a real pounding on him. And I want some of those hit's to be (as John Madden would say) absolutely crushing "de-cleaters"!! I'm so tired about hearing about Pat Mahomes and how he cannot be stopped, so I can just imagine how Ford, D-Fo, AA, and Bosa are feeling.
