Who cares. Never understood why fans care about media bias. Great thing about sports is they play the games on the field and it sorts all that ish out
There's clearly no advantage to being a media darling. All it does is get other teams fired up for the game. Monday night and Thursday night games are an even bigger pain since the traffic is worse then than it is on Sunday. Sunday nights are okay if you like Chris Collingsworth ( which I don't ). I can't tell whether he's imitating Mathew Mcconaughey or the other way around.
I posted in NT a week ago that the Harbaugh Niners weren't taken seriously as a truly elite team by everybody until AFTER the 2011 season.

People thought the Saints win and NFC Championship game war was a fluke. After disassembling the vaunted Packers in week 1 and Lions in week 2, people got the hint finally.

I think the Alex Smith bias probably held back the perception of the Harbaugh 49er greatness for longer than it should have been. A guy like Jimmy G shouldn't have that stigma, so it's possible the 49ers if they keep this up can be seen as one of the best teams this year if all goes to plan.

As far as the Rams are concerned, I do think the chinks in Goff's game and Gurley's health will be a problem for them. I worry more about facing the Rams defense than I am of stopping their offense.

They're 3-0, just appeared in the Superbowl, have a legendary Defensive Coordinator and one of the bets offensive minds in McVay. We are not there yet.

They are STACKED.

Every woman in LA is stacked

Please don't mention McVay when discussing the Rams versus the 49ers.

We were outgunned, out everythinged against the McVay rams. But as McKay has said, everything he learned he learned from kyle. The first 4 games have been grossly lopsided, but kyle shows up this time with some real talent and a D that is as good as it gets...when healthy. They got Gurley , we got Brieda, mostert and Wilson. They got a good OL, but ours is actually been playing together as a unit than theirs...they lost C and OG to FA this past yr. Their new guys look good, but i still like us..

Donald is a whiz bang, adn with Suh was unstoppable. But we already beat Suh this yr in our first game...but he gave us all we could handle. Still we got the W. Rams without Suh is an entirely different team. With him they had that deadly duo plus good DEs. So now we shall see what we see. Also, mcvay may be clever, but he isn't in kyle's League. And , he learned from kyle.

They got recevivers , we do too. But we also have kitttle who could easily be the deciding factor. Hate to think about it now because we got Cleve and Myles Garrett next up. But i'm No baker mayfield fan, so i think we win in a very close, tightly contested game The rams? Initially, i had us losing to them the first game and winning the second. If we win against Cleve, then i pick us in the first game. We have shaken a lot of the cobwebs out but the Pitts game was the decider. 5 T. Os and we still win? That seems an impossibility. More likely it means we are learning how to win despite mistakes.

Make no doubt tho, that Cleve will be a tough, tough game. Man I would love to win that one and be 4-0 . So we'll see...and lets's concentrate on that first. One at a time. One at a time.

Exactly. When you start the season as the second to worst team and a QB everyone was freaking out over in preseason, you gotta prove yourself. While a team like the patriots could've went 2-1 and still be ranked way ahead of us.

The second preseason game was always knee jerk bs, admittedly I got a little worried after that game but it all went out the window after the 1st half in KC. If the Browns (even with no OBJ) were 3-0 without question the media would be mushy over them , I believe they currently have the longest playoff drought. East coast media hates the Niners

You are correct. They only will place tied teams out of alphabetical order if there is a tie breaker involved.
As far as the media is concerned, if they keep winning than it will all work out in the end. Better to be quiet for now.
SO I guess the NFL feels like the public would rather watch the trash that is in Pittsburgh over the Rams vs Niners. Such BS, I seriously hope the Chargers beat the life out of that overrated, sad excuse of an NFL Team

The media will be back to sucking the Seahawks dick now.
The Bosa/Baker flag thing is the type of story the media eats up and overplays endlessly, so this combined with the team continuing to win will start to sway media to get on the 49er bandwagon.

Well from NFL perspective you can have east coast and west coast audiences for Steelers Chargers. But..... I believe the Niners vs Rams would've been flexed if Rams were undefeated. With that said, I genuinely don't care, Niners just need to show up and play the elite defense we expect from them and pound the rock without Juice.

Lol Adam Rank. MF should change his last name.

Most of them still are even though they got lucky and Rams snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
colin cowherd has us at #2 in his power rankings. He also said that his top 4 always includes teams that are absolute super bowl contenders. He had nothing but praise for us. And he thinks Jimmy G is great.
