If your happy just staring out at the fields and watching the sunrise I guess it's okay. If you actually want something to do other than work all day in the fields then Nebraska isn't the right place. I know a lot of people who left California for other places because of the traffic or cost of living. I don't know any that wanted to move to Nebraska.

Well I don't personally live in Nebraska but some people do enjoy it. I've been to Nebraska for camping, hunting and going to a lake. Was fun and will say a California night sky ain't s**t compared to those fly over states.

There are definitely places here in CA that you can get the best of both worlds. And at the end of the day, the mountains (Tahoe, Yosemite), nice beaches (Central and So Cal), and city amenities (SF, LA) are only a few hours away.

I think this thread is rather absurd. Don't the 1994 NFC championship game. That was the biggest sham in the history of the NFL at the time. (Surpassed by the 2006 AFC championship game).

The officiating has been quite fine this postseason.

WTF are you talking about? Explain.

I know the local cattle auctions are a big attraction, as are the tractor pulls at the county fairs.
Yeah they are riding Mahomes jock real big. Very biased.

I think there is real hatred and animosity towards California based teams. Perhaps due to politics, the area itself being expensive to live in, or maybe the rich stuck up people here. The "techies".

Which unfortunately, I can't really make fun of them that much, because I am one of these techies. I also think the recent success of the Warriors in the NBA made it even worse. The Bay Area has become the evil sports town similar to Boston.

This probably explains a lot of the animosity in the media. I think it was pretty predictable that no one is giving us a chance, and they expect Mahomes to blow us out.

lol what? The media is as liberal as it gets, and CA is super liberal. NYC is just as expensive. Its just because nobody in the east coast time zone watches west coast games. We were also 4-12 last year, so TV analysts are always skeptical about praising a team that might turn back into a pumpkin and make them look dumb. The public primarily follows the TV analysts' narratives.

Its ok, theyll see in about 4 days.

One I've noticed most members of the media don't watch the games, they watch the highlights. Mahomes is a highlight reel & Jimmy G not so much. They like explosive plays and big bombs down the field and that is not what the 9ers do. They had Stugotz NY radio describe it the best I heard so far "the 49ers are the steak and the Chiefs are the sizzle." We are a more fundamentally solid complete and balanced football team but KC just hits the highlight reel play more often.
It's not that there's a real bias, it's just that the media loves the taste of Mahomes cock.

The sizzle goes away after a couple of minutes but the steak stays with you long after you finish eating it so I like being the steak.
What I find hilarious about this thread now is that Chiefs fans are convinced that the media wants the 49ers to win and 49ers fans are convinced that the media wants the Chiefs to win.

Comical to me.

They are riding the Chiefs jock. It's like 90% to 10% Chiefs coverage on TV and sports radio as best I can tell.

I mean Chiefs fans are just sticking their heads in the sand on that one. Probably dont want to get overconfident.
They are building up both teams for tv ratings of the game. Shocking I know...

It's easier to talk about the Chiefs cause they have more stars than the Niners with Mahomes, Kelce, and Fat Andy with his long winning tenure.

Niners have Kittle and Kyle Shanahan. The rest of the guys aren't deemed major stars by the media.

Jimmy should be one of the major star but media downplayed, acting weird on him all year.

Jimmy hasn't had a ton of huge games and he's very low key. Not exactly great copy.
