Just listen to practically any sports show...Mahomes is the greatest and KC Chiefs are playing some team.
Barry Sanders picked the Niners today. Loves the running attack.
Shannon sharp just said the gap between Mahomes and jimmy is the biggest ever for this game. Fml lol
Media coverage seems pretty even to me. Mahomes is great and not hard to see how the media loves the Chiefs offense. Most common talking point us can the great 49ers defense slow down Mahomes? Pretty understandable debate especially considering how the rules favor offense these days.

Next talking point is can Chiefs defense slow down 49ers running game? Another debatable point.

I think the media looks at the QB comparison as the deciding factor, but they concede the 49ers are more complete team. Mahomes is a scary opponent just like how Russell Wilson seems to give us constant frustration, but Mahomes has more around him. It's gonna be a tough game but that's the way it should be.

Back to the media; it's not that hard to find those in the media who have drooled over Mahomes for two years and doubted the 49ers all year. If you listen to Stephen A. or Nick Wright mostly then you will see just the one sided bias. Others like Cowherd and Ryan Clark, then you see credit given to both squads.

Edit: just saw the Stephen A comments on the front page My timing wasn't quite good on that one. Oh well, if you watch Get Up and listen to the bias from everyone but Orlovsky I guess

Too many concussions for Sterling's brother- even though okay he had the better career. Sterling was a very good player though.

What's ridiculous is we just had a "gap" that almost anyone would agree was larger. Tom Brady, supposedly the GOAT (supposedly), vs. Nick Foles, who actually outplayed him in the game. But he was a guy who wasn't even a starting QB in the league anymore and did nothing other than take over for a league MVP candidate in Carson Wentz.

Whether we win or lose, and I'm not lacking confidence, these guys are clowns and should be reminded of that in every possible way.

Actually it's fine. Yeah he said he was "leaning toward us" but he still had to get his requisite, "I don't trust Jimmy but I still like him." Which I don't know how such a mindset is even possible. Talk about a middle of the road nothing. "He's not very good but yet he kind of is."

As for Nick Wright, I shouldn't go there especially since I'm not necessarily a great thing to look at- but he just looks, sounds, and comes across as if he should be talking about rousing games of hop scotch instead of football. Doesn't really come across as a metrosexual and at the same time certainly not as a normal guy and if he were to go back and field a punt would probably urinate on the field as he saw guys running full speed at him.

Sorry, but just not impressed. Especially with his weeks long obsession and insistence that we should have played for a tie in the first game against Seattle. Because that's the goal of all NFL teams and their mentality- "When time is running out, play like heck for a tie game!"

I get a weird vibe from Shannon Sharpe. He's totally on Mike Shanahan the greatest coach. But when it comes to his son Kyle, it's all about Kyle riding the coat tail of his pap for Sharpe. Kyle just simply using his fathers playbook. But we all know it's not as simple as that lol

Comical to me.

This is the nature of "National Media" pit people against one another. It's what makes the "Wheels" keep churning
IDK if the niners are disrespected at this point, but they definitely were earlier in the season. Awful lot of doubters and haters when the team was crushing everyone early on.

Jimmy IS absolutely disrespected, however. Way too many people—even so-called experts—clearly just focusing on certain stats instead of actually watching the games.
