too soon to make those calls, 3-0 is nice. but we haven't proven anything yet.

If they were to win these next 2 games, then i'd say we're pretty good and playoffs are likely.

But superbowl? i don't see it quite yet.

Hell yeah . We need every great resource we can get. I trust the Shanahan's completely.

They know offense and when they have a good QB (like we have now) that usually shows out (even with a mediocre QB sometimes).

Too early to start counting the Rams out and Russell Wilson is always a concern. We have 5 games in a 25 day stretch in Oct. Let's see how we come out of that.

Dafuq kind of ship are we looking to win? A Spanish Galleon? An aircraft carrier? A scooner? A trawler? A submarine? A constitution class starship?

It's not champion ship, it's a championship, and the 49ers have every bit as good an opportunity to vie for one this season as any other team.

Titles have been won by teams that had bad records the season before. Titles have been won by teams starting out 0-2.

Given how good the team looks at present why would such clearly deserving optimism be so amusing to you? Unless you're just a ginormous douchebag.

If they lose to Cleveland then definitely it may not be our time yet(of course depends how we lose)

But losing to LA on a short week when they have a mini bye week to heal up and prep for us on their turf shouldn't be a "oh no we suck again" moment assuming we're going there 4-0

Schedule makers didn't do us any favors there. Tough enough playing well on the road on short rest, giving the Rams extra time to prepare for us puts us at a disadvantage from the start.

But the Rams have given up 26 points per game so far(32 per game at home) and they're actually been pretty healthy in comparison to us. They're definitely beatable but they still have the best defensive player in the game and that guy can take over games.

Long story short we have to take care of business Monday Night and show people we can hang with the talented teams getting a lot of attention and then have to win a key division game on the road vs the defenending NFC champs but that game isn't a must win or clear indicator whether we're for real or not.

Of course I'll add the stipulation if we get routed like the last time we played them then it's something to be concerned about.
