I feel like this needs its own thread with Witherspoon out and the uncertainty at his spot now.
Will it be Mosley? Verret? Ward? My guy D.J Reed? A trade for a guy like Chris Harris....
The injury and loss of AW could really hurt us and mess up our whole D, though I'm hoping with our pass rush we should be ok

Good ?. Last I heard Mosley was getting the first crack at starting. As much as I have bashed Jimmie Ward, I have a feeling he might end up being our best option at CB until AW returns. Mosley is okay but I think he is a backup. I have no faith in Verrett. I really like D.J Reed but I think he is more of a nickel CB and will be our top Nickel corner next year....

Secondary and O line depth are the last 2 pieces of the puzzle. They probably won't be found until next years draft unless we just get lucky with a guy that gets released from another team.

Moseley should start. He's looked good every chance he has had, and I think he has earned it. Verrett, Reed, and Ward can all fill in if needed.

So Verrett is a mystery if we're just assuming he's no longer NFL caliber based on 2 obvious burns.
Release him if he's useless.
Or suit him up and throw him back into the battle if he isn't injured.

I tend to agree with this. Moseley looked good last season before the injury and he really hasn't done anything to not deserve first crack at it imo.
