We've read many opinions, realistic and otherwise, but what is the history between these two old rivals dating back to 1946? Many Niner fans will be shocked.

You replied without reading the article. That's typical of many of today's fans. Attention to detail is what makes good football teams -- and knowledgeable fans. Read it first. You may learn something...If you can labor through a short article, let us know your final score prediction. Keep it real.

Crazy to think that Kezar could fit 59000 fans in it, such a cool place.

Kezar was sold out and that was the first time in league's 4 years existence that the 49ers had passed the Browns into first place. I'm not sure I've ever heard a stadium get any louder than it was that day...and what made the victory even more special is that since the Browns went undefeated in 1948 at 14-0, it was their first loss in 2 years. The NIners put it on them from the onset and scored 35 pts in the first half.

Lol yeah. He's got a point though. For years the Browns and Niners have been duking out for draft positioning.

Furthermore, Kezar was bigger than today.

The 1993 week 2 MNF game always comes to mind for me. Steve still had his messed up thumb and threw 3 ints making it 6 ints in the first 2 weeks of '93. Couldn't stop Michael Jackson and Belichick's Browns team gave us our first loss of that year.

This would be the Cleveland Browns that became the Baltimore Ravens? Or the team that was formed in 1999?
