Fangio Vs Kyle would be an amazing matchup, I think the 2019 team would struggle to run on the 2011 D which would be a huge hindrance, this team thrives on the running game and subsequent play action.
That said Kittle would be huge in the game and could tip the balance.
I'd say whoever won the turnover battle would win, the 2019 team is the much better offense with the better QB and better coach, but that 2011 D was special, even though this one is very good.

Still think Harbaugh's 49ers will win... just because LUCK was also with that team.. balls were bouncing our way that year..
Plus, they got JUSTIN SMITH... the heart n soul of that team.. we don't have that YET.

Also, I hear the narrative a lot that VD wasn't good anymore after the hit by Kam Chancellor in 2012, but he did have 850 yards and 13 TDs the season after that. His production in 2012 was about the same before and after that hit and he had over 100 yards twice in the playoffs.
2013 with Kap was VDs best year imo. 13 TDs and only 60 less yds than in 2010, but he did it in just 14 games in 2013. He didn't play against the Colts and was knocked out against the Panthers in the 1st drive. So he had his 2010 production without even having to play the full 16 games.

We already saw Vic vs Kyle in '11 and '13....Kyle couldn't win with the immortal John Beck or busted RGIII
If you can't win with a stud like John Beck, how good are you really......

Sorry, was always a major gripe for me. You can't keep making that same stupid mistake for 4 years, just no excuse for it. How as a HC does one chew out players for asinine penalties when you yourself are responsible for the same asinine penalty time and time again.
that was very difficult to understand from an NFL team.
I expected someone would spill the beans when they retired or got fired or something....

I think the miss-direction offense of 2019 would work against the speed of 2011 to some extent....
I think the big ends would end up on the field a ton against that 2011 run offense and Kwon would be the key...someone has to chase around CK on third down AND someone has to run up the field with VD.
I like Kwon on VD....but who keeps an eye on CK?
I would hate to speak prematurely about a 3 win team running with a Super Bowl contending team......but they have a punchers chance with the speed and play calling.
We need to see 2019 stay healthy and too many of the core players have to stay on the field to be successful.

Staying healthy is the big key to our success this season. We can take some hits as we have a lot more depth then in 2015-18 but it is still a little shallow in some areas like the OL.
If we keep 90% healthy our chances of making the playoffs increases exponentially

I'd imagine it be a low scoring affair. Harbaugh's offense was just not very good. 2019 defense would handle the run, Sherman would shut down Crabetree, and we have the athletes at LB to cover Davis.
But the 2011 defense was epic. It could go either way.
I think this team is more exciting though, just because it was frustrating seeing our Harbaugh era defenses constantly getting the ball for us only to have the offense go 3 and out.

The 2011 team would win due to better long snapping.

The #49ers are the only team in the NFL to not allow a rushing touchdown in 2019.
