Would it be a mollywhopping so bad it would have you rooting for a mass shooting?

Jk not really, well kinda

Classy post here....wishing for a mass shooting is always cool. Should absolutely joke about that sort of s**t.

Sus needs help. Seriously.

I have said that for years.

One thing I don't miss about 2011 team, way less delay of game calls and wasted time outs.

And Kyle Williams

And that "Who's got it better than us? Noooooooobody!!" BS..

HA try being a Michigan fan as well, their O is atrocious. I think 2019 with Shannan would out coach Harbs and up points on the board. Harbaugh O couldn't put much.

Just like the BUF Bills will never be considered champions after they went to three straight SBs, the JH era produced nothing but two or three HOF players.

The 2019 SF team looks to have promise, but I'm not crowning them either.

Overall raw talent comp, here is mine:

QB: 2019
RB: 2011
FB: 2019
TE: 2019 easily
OL: doesn't matter: all scheme related
WR: 2019
DL: 2019
LB: 2011
CB: 2019
Safety: no one cares scheme

HC: 2019 because f**k rah rah

This is how I see it as well. Frank would have thrived in Shanahan's offense and he's better than any RB we have right now.

VD had/has stone hands, and Walker was good, but not the TE that he is today. Kittle is a great blocker as well as receiver.

But the main reason that the 2019 team is better than the 2011 team, it's the offense. Roman was so predictable, and he was just lucky that he had that offensive line and Gore. Shanahan is hands down better than Harbaugh/Roman.

Lol, I love that Sus has to pick a Niner team either way in this scenario.
With the sloppiness we're playing at I predict 9 turnovers by Shanny's team. But clean that up and 19 likely wins.

Yep because back in Harbaugh era you know he was talking up the Seahawks or Giants or whoever else gave us problems. Only when he left did he achieve god status for him.

Yeah. Gonna get a lot of mileage out of those 10 words. Economy of thought.
But it reminds me of Walsh's teams.
In the words of Randy Cross: "finesse this".
We'll just have to wait and see.
2019 would win because Shanahan would out-scheme Harbaugh. Harbaugh was too conservative and even though he was hailed as a QB guru coming in he was not an offensive genius, even now with Michigan his offense isn't great he's more of a defensive coach. That 2011 defense was special but they struggled with tight ends like Jimmy Graham and likely would do the same with George Kittle.

Shanahan and Jimmy G would pick them apart with short passes and play action. Whitner and Goldson hit hard but coverage burned them a lot, shanahan would exploit that big time
Harbaughs offense is great if the year was 1969

You're right about pick. Int, after int.

Luckily for 2019 it'd be punt after punt going the other way.
Kyle is better than Jim in every aspect of coaching, but experience. Jim had such boring offenses, horrible clock management and an ego that would get in the way of winning.

The 2019 team is getting better, but not on the 2011 level yet.
JH would win bc the defense was elite and Kap looked like an all pro his first year and a half. It wouldn't be close. Equal talent, then KS would make JH look like the average coach that he is.

Kap wasn't playing in 2011. Was Alex
2011 team would win pretty handedly based purely on what we've seen so far. The 2019 team is turning the ball over almost 3 times per game and hasn't played any good teams yet. The 2011 offense wasn't great, but it was more efficient than any team we've played so far. I'm not convinced that this year's defense is close to being on the same level as our 2011 team.
