I live in San Diego now and it sucks not getting all the 49ers games on TV, but it does not mean I am disconnected. SD49er cheer up and let the positive vibe lift you up everyday until we all learn what NFC teams made the playoffs before all these negativity in the air ruin our days ahead. Enjoy and believe brother! (Unless you're a closet Chargers fan like me, LOL!) BTW, I support all Cali teams!
My lord and my God Jesus, bless our 49ers!!!

I agree with , we def have some things to work on still,
Bummer kicking is now one of them when that was one our strong parts of our team. i do feel like Jimmy is playing scared, his footwork can look real ugly sometimes.
WR's, we can lay off Deebo abit, he's a rookie, but has done more good than bad. Pettis on the other hand needs to be reliable.
BUT!! if this team made the playoffs, i'd be happy. I'm not expecting a Super Bowl this season.

Yeah but who's perfect team right now, even the Patriots have gaping issues.

If he absolutely needs to make the throws and carry the team and convert long 3rd downs I have serious doubts right now. He is being covered up by outstanding defense and a great running game right now. But what happens against the great teams and in a close game when you need a QB to carry you? I'm not seeing it right now. He's not playing terrible. But there are big concerns here IMO.
Jimmy has 1 game where he literally didn't have to do a single goddamn thing and he's being portrayed as a coddled Alex Smith
Maybe you should re-watch and then go re-think everything you just said.
Let's not forget his 4th quarter comeback, game-winning TD. oh nevermind you just chose to ignore it on purpose

That's the beauty of it so far, they haven't even played their best ball yet and they're winners. I mean they are a flawed team, but that's to be expected as they are a relatively young group who have only been fully assembled this offseason.
And to me, we don't need Jimmy G to be that elite guy, let's be honest, maybe he just isn't. But if we can get him somewhere around the Phil Simms level with more ceiling maybe, with our d and running game, we should be fine. I'm just looking for him to be clutch and efficient, no turnovers , make the important throws. And can Jimmy possibly do worse than Goff did in the super bowl? Hell no
So I was looking at some camera angles from Baker Mayfield's perspective as the niner rush approached and he was staring into the cover 3 with Bosa and Ford coming , and 6'7" Buckner and Armstead up the middle, and I was thinking that's not something that QB's are going to be able to deal with that easily. If we keep getting a pass rush like that we should be in every ball game.
