That is so overlooked. Spoon was playing well after being in the dog house last season. E-Man has come in a played at a high level. Ward got our of the hospital and has played well. (That final PBU to Kupp was a fabulous play on a very hard-to-defend route.) Tartt is playing well. All that stuff goes back to coaching. Same players as last season but much better results.
That is why some of us are reluctant to say Saleh has reached a pinnacle or something like that. Don't get me wrong, I like Saleh, but he wasn't doing this last year and neither were the guys. Granted we got Bosa, Ford and Kwon now, but still, the guys who have been here have been lights out as well.
Saleh is doing a fine job with the play calling and keeping everyone focused. But I just think Koc and Woods deserve a lot of credit for what they've done in the off season with the young guys in such a short time. The difference in their game is significantly noticeable. A blind man could tell
