Pretty much. Every player drafted and every first time NFL coach is a crapshoot.
Being a dynamic college player does not an all pro make nor does every successful coordinator or college coach become a successful NFL coach.
That's why the talk about Saleh becoming a HC is funny in my opinion. Teams want to hire the coordinator who "developed" Favre, or Mahomes or oversaw the top offense or whomever, which has always baffled me. Some guys have the horses and some don't.
I'm happy Jed got lucky with Harbaugh and Shanahan. I wish them at minimum a decade of winning football.

I was an ass. lol.. no. if you really want to give fire to a team you feel is inferior. then start the second unit.. and then what happens if suddenly we are in a fight for our lives and have to run the first string in there? that is a very bad look overall. no, the first team could get hurt sunday vs the redskins as much as they could vs a better team. you start your best. hope they do the job and maybe give them a rest late. but you never take anyone for granted.

i will. like staying out of running the team and the decisions being made and just being quiet. you can say that about kyle and lynch as well. you hold lynch responsible for say . foster and of course you give him credit for getting bosa ford sherman etc.

if you read my posts in the robbie thread.. i never blamed robbie.. i blamed the long snapper all the way

Theismann is a solid QB. As long as Riggins doesn't get going with the run game we should be alright. I do worry about our buckup tackles vs. Mann.
