We've had issues with being overly arrogant and looking past teams before (Steelers game) and we're lucky it hasn't cost us yet. Hopefully Shanahan has learned from that and can motivate the team to avoid the letdown. A loss here would definitely undo all of the good will from the first 5 games.

Lol

Right on schedule lmao.

Lol

he is spot on about that mid west time thing. if the niners are as good as many think. there is no reason to lose this game.
This is the first game this year I feel like I could say we will win this.

Tampa-first game of the season and we were whooped by them the previous year
Cincy-they were coming off a strong game against the Seahawks
Pittsburgh-never a good feeling you're going to beat them
Cleveland-just beat down the Ravens
LA-no one thought we would win that no question
Washington-this one looks to be the best one for us to win

We don't need a 48-3 win. Stats will lie to you when you base future wins/losses off of them. Let's just have a clean game, without injuries, and win with style. We have a championship to win this year!
Redskins got talent, this is not a lock if the Niners relax.

I'm sorry are we still talking about the 9ers? Arrogant? Dude where do you come up with this dribble?

49ers are anthing but Arrogant, until now, what on earth would they have to be arrogant about?

Try thinking before you post, you seems to be either negative Nancy, an absurdist in most of your post.

P.S. I still think you're a Hawk fan trolling

Seriously freaky upsets happen in this league every now and again. It can't happen, but it does.

I don't see how you can say they haven't been at least a bit arrogant. They overlooked the Steelers, played very sloppily to start that game (probably didn't think they'd have to try against a backup QB making his first start). Now we've got Breida on NFL Network talking about how we'll beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl. That's not something I'd want our players saying ever, but especially not after just 5 games against a relatively soft schedule.

They're a young team, so it's not surprising that after their first taste of success they might get a little cocky, but it is something Shanahan is going to have to reign in. As Shanahan has said, this league will humble you pretty quickly.

They haven't overlooked anyone, Steelers were game 3, offense was and is still trying to get on the same page, mistakes happen.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. I see the sloppiness in that game as a sign of a lack of focus stemming from looking past an inferior opponent.
