Why so all the bottom feeders can say "It was just Washington"

I think it's the perfect game to use as a confidence boost for both Jimmy and the receivers and they could use the extra reps since we've been so run heavy these first 6 weeks. Who gives a flying you know what if its Washington or anybody else? Let the critics talk all they want.

I think it's a good opportunity for them, I don't think they need a confidence booster. I think about 7 people who live on these forums do.

Jimmy 3rd down has been huge keeping the offense going. There's no way a team can run 40 times for 2+ yards a carry with out a clutch QB keeping the chains moving. That's not a game managers, game managers play field position by not turning the ball over and not converting 3rd downs.

I dunno...part of me is a little nervous about this game. With the weather maybe being a factor and the skins have nothing to lose here by just going all out, maybe a trap game?

Me too--not least because I live in DC and Monday morning could be a bit awkward if we lose.

Joking aside, although I am nervous about the game, I'm far less worried than I would've been for any post-Seifert coaching staff. I think the degree to which Shanahan has built a team-focused culture within the organization is remarkable. The fact that he was able to hold the team together in seasons 1 and 2 impressed the hell out of me and they don't seem to be letting the success they've found in season 3 go to their heads. Although I am a bit nervous, I'm confident that they'll take care of business and club that which needs clubbing.

This is actually very accurate, don't know if you're stealing my previous post or not but the NFL is scripted lol.
The super bowl logo has Gold in it this year so it will be a team that has Something to do with gold. To me it's pointing to a Brady Vs Jimmy Super Bowl. Brady also was a niner fan growing up, what better way to end his career? If you don't think it's scripted then that's on you, but don't bash other people because they can see thru the BS and you choose not to. You can still be a fan, it's all entertainment. Why else do you think the NFL is labeled as sports Entertainment? It's a single entity meaning they all split profit no matter what happens. Everyone does their Job and they all go home wealthy

My post was satire. Let's assume your theory is true. Who all is in on it? How have they managed to get away with it for so long?

I know it was that's why I said dont bash people who can clearly see what's going on. It's called contracts. These guys are paid millions. Ever wonder why they all hang out and party after the games are over? Would you rather be making millions or working a 9-5 making 45,000 a year? Players don't really care if they win or lose. It's like a wwe wrestler, as long as they are paid they don't give a s**t. No player would ever seriously go against the NFL. It's a brotherhood

Okay, I'll play along. But why would the powers that be want the Skins to win? Wouldn't they rather have SF remain undefeated? So how many plays will the league have to screw us on to give Washington a win given the disparity in talent?

And there's no better SB storyline from a TV standpoint than NE Vs SF.

Brady Vs JG. The HOF QB Vs his understudy, both are handsome.
People hate the Pats, there's your villain.
Belichick/Shanny rematch.
Two big TV markets in SF and Boston.

This.

You should be a Hollywood script writer.

You need to add Jimmy marrying a porn star to make it perfect

No, it is Jimmy stealing Giselle.

How come some investigative journalist has not exposed NFLgate?

And why hasn't there been a whistleblower like Tim Donaghy?

Kap would have called them out in his law suit

True. I mean the NFL has had thousands of players and coaches. Getting screwed by the league/refs can cost a coach his job in certain scenarios. It can ruin a free agent's earning potential.

Why would a guy that had washed out of the league keep silent? Wouldn't one or more of those type athletes write a tell all book for money?

Kap is part of the fraternity my friend. I gave you the info it's on you from here.

I've been a niner fan my whole life. It was terrible when I realized it was scripted but don't worry your life doesn't end after that. You move on and continue to watch for entertainment or don't.

Confidence boost was a poor choice of words. I just want them to get more reps passing the ball and this game is a golden opportunity to do that. Jimmy has been amazing, and the people who have been labeling him a "game manager" are just simply not watching him play or the host of other ridiculous reasons they come up with.

Exactly im thinking the same thing live action against a team thats not that good (still an nfl team) and have our offense let loose. Jimmy needs to have one of those statement games 350+ yards 5 tds. Its not impossible.
