Samuel suffered an apparent quad injury late in Sunday's victory over the Rams, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Samuel was targeted five times and caught three passes for 18 yards -- while adding a one-yard carry -- before leaving the contest in the fourth quarter. He will undergo further testing Monday to determine the extent of his injury.

Panthers have the #1 pass rush in football and picked off Winston 5 times today. They are very legit and will be the toughest matchup that the 49ers have had this season, especially with two backup tackles.

Never said Panthers Defense was trash. Just that we are gonna shut down their offense(CMC) with our Defense. Plus they are traveling to our turf, Niner Faithful gonna be loud and the our defense is gonna be hostile. Ill take our chances at home with Kyle's play calling vs their defense over their offense going on the road to play against pretty much the #1 Defense in the league.
