EL OH EL AT THE HATERS

WooLick, did you vote for Saleh as the primary reason for the defense's improvement?

This front 7 reminds of the NY Giants that beat the undefeated Patriots in the Super Bowl, but even more talented. With the production we are getting from them, there is no reason to think we can't do the same (win the Super Bowl)

I didn't vote because you left me no option to vote.

What do you mean? You don't see the poll?

2011 Eagles had a ton of defensive talent and went 8-8. Also had a ton of offensive talent.

Rams are giving up 25+ ppg this year with a load of talent on that D and a veteran DC who many wanted here.

Saleh is the same unprofessional lunk head as last year.

It's. just. Bosa.

Ohhh so you think they all play an equal role? None more than the other? Because the question is which element is playing the largest role in the improvement. There's no wrong answer. Just wanted to see what the board thought.

A lot more changed on this team from last year than that. We signed Dee Ford in FA. Ward got healthy. Richard Sherman got healthy and back to himself. Kwon Alexander was signed. Arik Armstead and Solomon Thomas are more experienced and playing better in their roles. There is a lot more going on than Bosa. But yes he has helped this team.
talent has been upgraded, other players have gotten healthy, and most have another year working together. With all that in mind, it still takes a coach to game plan and make adjustments in real time. Didn't we switch up the defensive alignments prior to the start of training camp this year? Players, without a coaches direction, can't win games, and coaches, without the necessary talent, can't devise winning strategies either. Acquiring talent is an administrative decision. Evaluating talent is also an administrative job. Although the players are the ones that must 'bring it home' it is the coaches that 'lead' the defense. Saleh gets my vote.
here is the answer:

I know. Talent acquisition team (Kyle/John/AP/Mayhew/Scouts) would play the largest role in that case. Without them we don't have the talent we do.

But I truly believe everyone is playing a big role in the defense.

I agree with you. But the whole story is Bosa.

Love Kwon and Dee. They are difference makers.

But Bosa is the game changer. He cuts the field in half.

OC's spend their week game planning how to keep ONE GUY from wiping out the left side of the pocket.

That's the only reason Armstead and Thomas looking like heroes.

Dee is amazing too. If he had two good wheels we would be in historic territory.

As it is, Him, buck and Bosa take a load off everyone else by leaving them with punk matchups

No, I think he's a good coach you made lots of improvement to the team over the past two years but finally got the players he needed this year.

Fangio's a very good defensive coordinator but he has a whole bunch of years with poorly ranked statistical teams because he didn't have good players just like sleigh didn't have players he needed the past couple years.
