Only thing it has going for it is the gold reserve connotation and that's about it (assuming that people actually know that's the reference). Using "knock" is also kinda weak for describing what your defense does to people, especially now that the league cuts down on that s**t…an army installation all the way in Kentucky also isn't particularly apt for a California team, the vaults were built in 1936 long after the California gold rush was over…that's IF even the average person knows all this

Smallpox. Because smallpox was the greatest killer of Indian chiefs. And that's who this defense is going to need to stop if they make it to the Super Bowl. And thus far, they have not been up to that task. I hope they are this year, because I do not like Chris Jones, and while I am sure he is a nice guy, I don't like Kelce either.

I have no idea, but the identity of the defense is take away the deep balls, pressure and swarm to the check downs, so the right name will probably have something to do with that.

The Steel Curtain, "steel, pittsburgh" was based on the iron curtain an ocean away.

"gold, san francisco" based on fort knox a continent away.

don't really see much difference ("if" the average person knows this lol)
