How does this 2019 team stack up against the 2006, post-week 9 team?

2007 was the last year of madden that I played, so I feel uniquely qualified to be involved in this thread.
2006? lol

i mean 2006 was our best year post Mariucci and before the harbaugh era started. Only because Norv Turner was our OC and Smith looked decent.

But why are we comparing this 2006 team to our 2019? our team now would beat that team.

I feel like the comparison should be between 2012 to the 2019 squad due to how good our defense was

Comparing a 5-0 team to one who only won 7 games because of Frank Gore? Wtf?????

LOL
"How does this 2019 team compare to the 1997 team, BUT ONLY for the 1 week that Jim Druckenmiller started?"
Frank Gore would probably rush for 150 yards on this team tbh. Run defense is our weakness imo

Truth,

i think Frank Gore NOW would run like crazy in this offense as well.
RIDDLE ME THIS:
Would the Elvis Grbac-led 1995-1996 49ers be favored against the 2019 squad? If so, what would the line be?

THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS THREAD. ANALYTICS-HEAVY DISCUSSION ONLY, PLEASE.
Our defense now is obviously a lot better. 2006 Frank Gore is the best offensive player on either team. 2006 Alex Smith and 2019 Jimmy are about the same statistically.

The coaching is much better now, so I think the 2019 team has the slight edge.

Druckenmiller would be under serious duress, but one wonders if Doleman and Greene would knock out Jimmy G. Could Sherman and a sidekick handle Owens and Stokes? Could be a low-scoring, ugly affair. That's the 35,000ft media hype take, I'll let the real stat nerds in this forum take it to the analytics level from here.

We've allowed the 3rd fewest rushing yards so far.
