SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at WASHINGTON REDSKINS - 2019 Game 6

My son and I were at the game, and everyone was soaked. The weather conditions significantly hampered every aspect of the game, yet, the 49ers did what it took to win.

On a side note, there were SO MANY 49ers fans there that it felt like a home game. It was pretty awesome!

Some so called fans on this forum should be ashamed of themselves for complaining about this win and the performance of Jimmy G.

That field was a f**king quagmire and the conditions meant the ball was sloppy as f**k. It was an early game on the east coast in horrendous conditions without our starting tackles and fullback in conditions that made those positions key and we pulled out the win.

We did exactly what a good team should do.

You have Redskins fans that were at the game complaining about how bad the weather conditions were and how atrocious the field was and then you have folks watching on a TV screen talmbout "meh, it wasn't that bad."

Complainers gonna find a way to complain.

Awesome. Despite the conditions, glad you had fun and it was a home game!

Amen, absolutely!!!
With the receiver position as it is Kyle needs to get Richie James and Kendrick Bourne on the field more. At this point I would be fine with Goodwin sitting or released.
Thanks!

Definitely need an upgrade at receiver. The guys we have will probably be better if we had a true number 1.

I agree. We have a special group. I think we are a playmaking WR away from being a SB winner. I really do.

I am not going to say Garropolo played well or wasn't at fault for some things. However, many times nobody was open. His only hope was kittle who had more than one defender on him many times.

A "true #1" wasn't gonna do crap today imo

Good hands would have really helped though, in the slop a big guy who makes contested catches would have made a huge difference

Did Matthews even play today?

That's not what this is. Some opinions are objectively more correct than others. The people who don't understand how to analyze the big picture, that deny that the weather played a role in how the game went down, that refuse to acknowledge Jimmys clutch play late in games to help us win, that reduce good and play to a question of whether or not you are setting records in yards or tds are objectively more wrong.

You can be a fan, feel better?

I'd prefer not to listen to unreasonable whimpering and generally choose not to view this website or click it's ads.

Yup.
Jimmy needs to stop making stupid mistakes with the ball. I get that he only has 16 starts or whatever but some of those throws would have been picked off if it wasn't raining.

I don't know if it makes you less of a fan. But its defenatly makes you a "dumber fan" to be freaking out over each incomplete pass and ignoring positive plays.

Apparently the team is looking at possible trade options according to the article posted above. A J Green, Mohamed Sanu and Devonte Parker are mentioned. I have no idea how close we are to any of those. A J Green was a stud but I'm not sure how much he has left.
