Don't be too critical of today's stats... in a game like this you just want to do a Jimmy Raye and "beat the hell outta the other team and win by 1"... the weather and field conditions would have caused most HS games to be canceled... they managed the conditions and did great, Adrian Peterson is the perfect back for this type of weather and they eventually shut him down... so kudos to ShanaLynch on the road and taking care of biz

Doesn't talk Steelers that much. Should of chosen a better team.

I just don't get all the hating of the team and players on the game day thread. I would swear half here aren't Niner fans.

Some people just can't handle the ups and downs of a game.

It's rarely pretty and it's never perfect.

It wasn't with Steve and Joe either.

The Madden generation thinks it knows better than actual NFL coaches and players.
It's just fans being fanatics. I have a friend who gets so pissed off at the slightest things and is a roller coaster. I sit next to people for my college games that show absolutely no emotion at all. Personally at times I find myself overreacting and getting caught in the moment.

It's just part of the game. Some are more emotional than others.

Especially when there's money riding on the game lol

Yes! That was fast. But that sloppy victory was well earned!

I need the Saints to lose because they have an easy schedule.
I hate the Cowgirls, and Jimmy "the AntiChrist" Jones... but I love peanutbutter

I just needed a place to vent that

Lol I will never bet on sports even though I think I'd be fun. It would completely ruin the game for me.

Agreed. I was at the game and can attest to how horrible the weather was. The rain never stopped. It was amazing seeing so many Faithful there though. I arrived a little late to the game, and as I was entering heard the crowd doing the 'DEFENSE' chant. I assumed it was the Wash fans. After getting to my seat, and hearing the same chant again with us on defense, I realized just how many of us were there. It sounded like a home game.
With conditions like those this was the type of game you just get the win and get out of there.

I wouldn't be shocked if they skip watching film on this one and just go straight to watching the Panthers tape. Not a whole lot to be gained good or bad from this game.

It was fantastic there was no serious injuries other then Breida getting a poke in the eye.
I have to say that when he can actually manage to stay on the field Jimmy Ward is a heck of a tackler. He doesn't look that big on TV but that never seems to stop him. He just wraps people up and stones them. Watched the highlights of the Seahawks and Cardinals' games tonight. That kid that plays for Arizona reminds me a lot of Wilson. He has the same kind of elusiveness but is always keeping his eyes downfield looking to throw. I think looking ahead those are going to be four very tough games. Hopefully our defense will continue to shine and the offense will get untracked by the time it gets some of its missing components back.
