Run blocking is run blocking and it's all about timing regardless of anything. Gotta remember it's not just the offense that's dealing with s**t weather, the defense is the one that has to read and react just as much if not more.
SF stops a crappy DC running game and they win.
I wouldn't worry a bit if either MM or JS were out there...half side runs. But we averaged 1.8 yards a rush last game. Not a major concern on my part...just saying it won't be pretty and probably not as conventional as per usual given the field conditions and most likely, conservative game plan (I kind of see this as a similar game plan to Tampa Bay).
Totally agree on the bold obviously.
