It's going to be a tough game. Carolina has perhaps the best d-line in football lead by the front-runner for DROY, Brian Burns. That's not an ideal matchup for a team missing it's starting tackles. It'll likely be a defensive slugfest with the biggest key to the game being whether or not we can contain McCaffrey.

False. and False. 49ers have the best DLine in football and THE DROY.

Tampa Bay slowed down CM. He's not unstoppable. I would guess stack the box and see if Kyle Allen can win the game.

TB has stopped every run offense, they're DTs are studs

I suppose if we're required to only analyze things with a homer slant, then that's true. They have significantly more sacks as a unit than us and Burns has more sacks than any other rookie. I'm sure we can come up with some fancy anal ticks to twist the numbers to make our d-line look better if we want, but I'm just going by what has happened on the field.

Anyways, their d-line will be a tough test for our o-line regardless of how some bean counter living in his parents basement ranks them.

Once again, you're mistaking your passive aggressive swipes at the team with "objectivity" lol. And trolling as Burns is no where near Bosa.
I had this earmarked as the toughest game of the first half hands down and I haven't changed my mind. Fortunately what we need to do is what we do best, stop the run and run the ball. Injuries are definitely a concern on that second part, but I am confident we can compete. This one is a coin toss for me. If we were at full power, I think we win handily.

Their D is legit, their O is evolving and has been productive... they have to travel across the time zones so we have an advantage there... I see a close game but we handle them for the W...

Waiting to see if Mayo's penis see it's shadow before I dial in my final prediction.

Their pass D is legit, run D not so much. I'm running it right at skinny leg burns or Addison. Neutralize that edge rush a little.

This game is a big one, I feel like we stack up well vs them. McCaffrey will get his BUT if our LBers who have been studs in coverage can slow down those screen/dump offs that will be big. Allen is gonna feel the pressure this week like he's never felt before. Make him have to push it downfield.

Like I say every week no stupid turnovers please.

So is this guy going to keep posting every opponent we play better than the Niners?

Now that's just a trolling comment if I've ever seen...Carolina does NOT have the best DL in the league. It's not even the best in their division. They're damn near the bottom vs the run.

Explain to me how Burns is the front-runner for DROY? He's not on the level that Bosa is at right now and I thought even the Bosa haters would be done with this nonsense smh.

Passive aggressive is his M.O in here.

Where did I say they were better? Acknowledging that the Panthers are a good team that presents some matchup problems for the 49ers does not equal saying they're better.

Burns has more sacks than Bosa. What do you think the voters are going to look at when voting for DROY? Something subjective like pass rush win rate percentage or the same stats they've been using for the last 30 years?
This game will be won and lost on 1st and 2nd down for either team. We have to force some 3rd and Kong's to try and get in Allen's head. He has questionable ball security in the pocket so I'm thinking Ford will get at least 1 FF. If Jimmy G can have a clean game I think we win in a defensive battle.
Hoping Phrederick Sopht doesn't show up for this game.
