It just hit me after reading that article on the front page... can you imagine if we didn't waste the pick on Solly and took Christian how ridiculous this offense would be

And then now you may not have Bosa. You can't just change one thing and pretend like everything else would stay the same. Maybe they win more games with McCaffrey and instead of Bosa and Thomas they have McCaffrey and Rashan Gary.

Exactly, it blows me away how people cannot see these things.

People seem to get the idea that JG going down last year ultimately resulted in a better roster for this year, at his developmental expense.

This other stuff is no different.

"Imagine Aaron Rogers with those Harbaugh Niner teams??" , same stuff.
BTW, I'll throw out another thing at random, which some people will see as excuses, but it's worth noting:

Until the Niners lose their first game, they'll be dealing with that undefeated streak. So in a way, every team is helped along by that until it goes down.

That's a good comp.......I remember that game well, and having hated the Giants I remember watching that game with the nerves of a playoff game!

Panthers fans are predicting a win... they're probably right.

Eric Reid with the pick 6

24-17 Panthers. Panthers control most of the game, Jimmy G with a TD at the end.

Lol this the Eric Reid fanboy that just questioned me in the other thread??? Cool story bro
"Fanboy" is a pejorative word that expresses a personal contempt for someone else. It is considered a personal attack...for your information, and for others reading the thread. Further usage will result in special communication with mod staff.

Eric Reid tho...

Cool story bro, but who the hell was he? Besides the guy who rolled into Bowman's knee in 2014. And he would still not even make this current team even at his best.
Lol cool. Predict the panthers win and stick up for your guy regardless of his bs revisionist history and crying. I on the other hand will be rooting for the niners

On the subject of Eric Reid, I believe he has one 49er record (or tied for it, Lott maybe):

An interception in the first two games of his rookie season.

He picked off Rodgers at the Stick, then Wilson at Century Link.

I only remember this because it was a stat that came up after he picked off Wilson.

Other than that, can't recall much else about him. It seems he wasn't even the best safety available in that draft that year...

I still remember watching that game at a restaurant. Remember it vividly.

It's a shame the playoffs didn't give us the same result

Tomorrow's game will be a real test for us. Can't wait to see how we perform.

I think we're going to rip them a new one.

I hope so. Like every opponent we've had this season...I am a bit nervous about this game.
The latest pge shut-off page shows all of Santa Clara to be off tonight @ 8. They expect all power to be off for 48 hours. Has this been discussed anywhere???

If this was the case - the 49ers and NFL would have come out with an announcement.
So can Kyle Nelson step in and help if Toilolo is unable to go. I mean he is a TE right.

You would think they have generators.

Ratings will be low, we all won't have the power to watch...it's bigger than football. Imagine the traffic in Santa Clara with no power. Sounds like a mess

Without a doubt it would be a mess.
