I don't. People still don't believe our 6-0 record. Even if we beat CAR, the excuse will be because Cam didnt play not because the niners are forreal.

I don't care anymore at this point - we won't get our due until we make the playoffs.

After we beat the Patriots in the #SB54 critics will say it was because Brady is old and BB contemplating retirement

That's not true, Kyle Allen has been very careful with the ball and very accurate when he has passed it. That and his decision making are why the Panthers have won 4 in a row. However ha has had ball security issues when he's been sacked, but seems to have corrected those issues the last two weeks.
The "Panther fans" you heard on the podcast are what we refer to on the Carolina message board as Cam-stans. These guys have been lamenting the fact that this team is undefeated now that Newton is off the field. 0-8 in his last starts the past two seasons while Kyle Allen is 5-0 with the same team the past two seasons, so take what they say with a grain of salt.

This should be a heck of a game, The 49ers will definitely be the best defense we've faced all year, and likewise for you guys. With two evenly matched squads its going to come down to who makes the least mistakes ie turnovers. If the Panthers protect the football I think we can ride our running game and defense to victory.

Evenly matched? n***a please. It would take a offensive and defensive total meltdown for this team to lose.

Evenly matched yes, I actually think the Panthers are the better team, but you guys are home so it's going to be a tough one no doubt. I just don't see you guys scoring much on this defense as we will shut the running game down. Allen and Garoppolo are being asked to do pretty much the same thing, however our Qb isn't as loose with football, which again I think is going to be the difference in the game.

Carolina ranks 23 in rushing defense. We're the best rushing offense.

49ers have averaged less than 3 yards a carry the last 2 weeks, with the injuries that you guys have had on the online as well as your fullback, I think that has negated some of your rushing attack. Stats can be misleading the Panthers are a much better rush defense that what's reflected, earlier in the season they were still getting adjusted to the 3-4 transition from the 4-3 couple with playing some teams with mobile Qbs kind of inflated those numbers. In their last outing against Tampa only gave up 42 yards on the ground as oppose to the 100 yards in their 1st meeting.

I think with Ron Rivera and staff having a extra week to prepare for the San Francisco rushing attack, Luke and crew neutralize that, so its going to be tough sleding for 49ers if they are having to face 3rd and long situations and having to block this Dline that leads the league in sacks with backups on your Oline.

Welcome to the 'zone.

Both teams are somewhat similar in that the offenses are currently relying on the running game. That means shutting down the run will be a priority. I don't know how much 49er football you have seen this season but running on that front 7 is not easy.

As to the passing game, Allen has yet to see anything at all like what he will see tomorrow. SF has a 6 man DL rotation that just keeps constant pressure. Hold the ball more than 2 seconds and you go down.

6 point SF win.

We all know this is one of our very own trolls messing around, right

Btw I totally agree with the 6 points... 49ers 37 Panthers 6

I've only seen panther fans picking them to win. Everyone else I see is the Niners, and the books here in Vegas have them at - 4.5 to -6.5 to win.

DVOA strongly disagrees with you.

at the end of the day, stats are meaningless come Sunday... It's the 49ers job to prove that we're 2nd ranked in DVOA.... Who wants it more... I hope its the 49ers.... having so many losses in the first 2 seasons... Kyle should be able to ponder up speeches that just ignite the players.

If I were to able to speak to the 49ers players before and during halftime, we'd blow every team out.

anywho

35-14

49ers.

Go, Niners, go!
Fine with me if Panther fans see a win in a tight game. I could go along with tight game, but wonder if their DL and Kuechly can stop our ground game. As far as averaging 3.2 yds/carry (panther figures,) in last two games, did you see the mud/slop bowl we played in last week in WASH? 3.2 /carrry is a huge deal in those conditions. No cutting back, no sharp cuts, both staples of ours. Suspect you will see "some" of that today.

Your pass D ...can it contain our passing game, least # passes/game in the league? We really haven't needed a mainly passing game to date, and i don't see why we suddenly have to now. Rams D was pretty decent and we ran mostly. Ron Rivera is a great D coach and surely he is focused on stopping our run game. Well, we'll all find out together if that is right...or not. I think Emmanuel makes Kittle more dangerous, he's dangerous and the two of them make Debo , Pettis and Goodwin + Brieda/any RB more dangerous.

We haven't really won a game on passing this yr. Why? Because we didn't need to. But come 3rd down time, JimmyG has been pretty close to 1 for 2, or 50%(slightly under). Don't be fooled by slop stats from last week. All i recall is a W...and that was plenty good enough. That was an easy game for us to lose. JG is looking forward to throwing a dry ball that is normal weight . Ball last week was probably 1/2 pound heavier soaking wet...and slick.

As for your Allen, if he thinks he is going to be fine back there, well good for him. Games to date, however, haven't proven that to be the case. I think we win a close one ...unless the Magnificent 7 demoralizes Allen by the end of 1st half. ...or qtr. Then a blowout.

9ers have played incredible football, with D leading the charge, the first 6 games. But Emmanuel could very well turn around a less used passing game in his first game. Again we'll see. I expcect the Panthers D to be excellent but they haven't had the pleasure of playing against Kyle as OC/ HC. He is very different from just being an OC in ATL, whom you all knew quite well. Game of surprises about to start in just under half hour.
