I think with the addition of sanders, when TT and Hurd return this offense can be scary.

I would bet on Hurd before Taylor. Sanders makes Taylor less important and Hurd is a different kind of WR than those two.

It would be a no brainer to bring back Taylor from IR if he is healthy enough to play, though health is the big question. Sanders can play the any of the X, Y, Z positions.
Hurd is a rookie and raw. He missed a significant part of the season. It is a lot to ask a raw rookie to come back that late in the season and contribute. I really think the expectation of him from a lot of fans in this forum is unrealistic. I can see him return from IR if there is no other good candidates. There is 2 designated to return spots, and so far we have Taylor, Hurd, Verrett, and Streets as the candidates. Unless we see other injuries in at the CB or DL position, I don't see why we need Verrett and Street to come back.

Agree about Hurd. I can't see them bringing back a rookie halfway through the season when he hasn't played a down yet. Even if Taylor can't play for several more weeks, he seems like a much better option to bring back.
Great & valuable thread. Thank you 😊

As much as I want Staley out there this Sunday, it is best to make sure is available for the rest of the year and not just this game.

absolutely. plus if he plays Sunday, he doesn't have much rest for Thursday either. save him till Thursday, give him that extra time, then after Thursday we'll have that long week until the Hawks the following Monday night

Yeah, best to not rush him back - we need him for more than just one game.

Agreed. It's almost no need to have either come back this year at this point. Samuel, Pettis, Goodwin, Bourne, Sanders, and James are fine by me. I'm hoping that guys perform so that we can unload a receiver or two for a day 3 pick. I'm sure some receiver desperate team could use some of these guys (between our healthy and injured receivers).

Good point. Plus the Arizona game is on the road where u need a veteran tackle more with crowd noise though I expect it to be 20-30% 49ers fans if not more
