Does this team need to get blown out once this season to bring them back to earth?

I don't see this defense getting blown out by anyone...offense just added Sanders, LS Nelson's back (watch Gould get his mojo back). In the NFL, you win every game you can...losing's way overrated!

I would rather be the first and only team to go 19-0.

No way. 19-0 is going to feel great. But 38-0 will be the best feeling ever. Take that s**tty Dolphins.

I agree the team does need to get blown out, Pornstar Jimmy can hook em all up.

Wouldn't say it's a narrative, just a factor of the human existence. When you win all the time you don't learn as much from your mistakes and you don't know how to deal with adversity when it comes.

Two teams in different sports I can think of here:

2011 Packers were 15-1 and steamrolled through reg season. They eventually got blasted by Giants in divisional at home!

2019 Dodgers - One of best regular seasons in a while with 106 wins but lost in divisional to Nats.

We need to lose a few games in reg season for sure and deal with adversity!

This team is already on Earth, and like that gang Los Locos from Short Circuit 2, it's kicking everybody's ass into OU-TER-SPACCCCCCCCCCCCCCEEEEE!!!

No but at some point the honey moon will be over and this team will go through a rough patch. We'll see how they respond.

I haven't really gotten the impression these guys are ahead of themselves. I don't think losing would do anything other than put an L on their record tbh.
