Still too early but not looking good. We had to blitz more than usual today and they were still not finishing sacks. Not good when we verse teams with a competent receiving squad.
And don't get me started on the o-line...
This year was wasted when we lost Bosa for the year. The window will open again next year.

resign Moseley. Maybe let Sherman go since hes too old and expensive. Draft another CB 2nd or 3rd round. Draft a guard 2nd or 3rd round. Do not for the love of god draft a defensive linemen in the first round. f**king Niners.
In the first round, get a quality first round QB that will develop behind Garoppolo. Preferably a mobile QB like Josh Allen, Burrow, Jackson, Mahomes.
Let Garoppolo play out his contract, or trade him. Window may be closed for now, but will re-open if you hit big on a rookie QB.

They arent drafting a QB in round 1, LOL. It's not happening.
They do need to draft the best C/G or CB they can in the 1st next year, though.

Or, best edge rusher in the first.

As long as they stay consistent and stay a playoff level team, the window won't ever be close. They're bound to win a SB if they just make the playoffs most years.

I wouldn't be opposed, but I really want them to address interior OL. It would make the offense click so much more and solve a lot of the current problems for all the QBs.

Outside of Sherman and Williams, all of our best players are young. The window is wide open. Do we have a shot this year? With the injuries probably not, but there is a lot of hope for the future.

Naw. Window's open. We're not going to cruise into the playoffs like we did last year, but this is a talented roster. If we can just make it into the dance healthy, we have a shot. The NFC's tougher than it was last year though, so we'll see.
The interior offensive line is a huge concern, and hopefully the injuries regress to the mean. We're getting okay pass-rush on defense without Bosa/Ford, it hurts, but it's still doable. Our Key to Success this year though is for our offense to progress. Garoppolo is supposed to take a big step this year, and we've got the toys on offense.. fully healthy, we have Deebo, Aiyuk, Kittle, Reed, McKinnon as passing options.
As we are now, if we can get healthy, we're a Wild Card team, but without Bosa/Ford, I think we've lost our biggest competitive edge and I doubt we get far. But if the offense can take a step forward (which I think they steadily will), we'll be able to compete with the other NFC powers again.

I agree. I wanted to see the interior O-line addressed this year, but its hard for me to complain too much with the Kinlaw and Aiyuk picks so far.

It's pretty much done. We have to rebuild again from the draft because we don't have enough $$$. Which means it will take about 2 more seasons to get back to the Super Bowl if we hit on couple of top draft picks and undrafted rookies.
We need a completely new OL if we want to even compete. We also have to rebuild our CB/safety position. Probably add couple of pass rushers because our DL took a big hit this offseason (QBs have so much time and we are so freaking slow). All I would do against us is just run the QB, we can't beat it.
It's going to get much worse before it gets better I think. Too many holes and can't play good free agents because we don't have enough cap space.

Just be consistent like the Steelers most years. You don't always have to be the best. I get really annoyed when people want to tank just because the team won't win the championship every year.
