We are 2-2, only 2 games behind first place and have 5 divisional games left. I hate to tell ya this but if you thought we were going 16-0, well you are delusional. However, there is plenty of time to right this ship.

One thing I noticed is that McKinnon/Wilson just don't have the Mostert/Breida speed.

This. McKinnon is a complimentary back, not a starter. But props to him on his effort.

The oline wasn't good yesterday. The eagles dline was having their way with them out there. I agree with you though. Mullens was bad. He did them no favors by holding onto the ball too long and missed his chances when he had them. The miss to Juice hurt. That was likely a td and would have established some momentum early on.

Miss to Bourne the play before the fumble was awful too. PIck 6 awful. O line wasn't responsible for that.

O line is a problem but if the qb's cant make the plays that are there to be made that's a even bigger problem.

All of the above. Mullens was awful. The oline was trash. The defense giving up first down conversations when they would get the eagles backed up didn't help. There's enough blame to go around. Kittle showed up with a couple others but majority of the team didn't. It was a good chance to gain a win over a team that is pretty beat up itself but they squandered it. Now they have a tough stretch after Miami and have made things that much more difficult on themselves.

We don't have the horses. The team needs to reload in the offseason.

Why can't we freaking hit on a legit WR?

And how come we have never had a decent punt returner for the last 100 years? Trent Taylor's fair catch before that last drive was horrible. He easily had 10 yards of space.

On the O line, yes. On the D line, no. We just need to get some starters back.

I remember Vikings fans saying (even pre-injury) that while he's powerful and fast, he goes directly into contact like a magnet and doesn't make people miss.

Now maybe it's just in comparison to Mostert or maybe it's the injuries he's had, but I really don't see any true speed and he absolutely seems to hit contact quickly and go down.

Solid comeback as a compliment and pass catcher but when the handoff goes to him or Wilson you know they're going into a cloud of dirt.

You just can't lose these games. The Eagles are trash this year. The division is too good to afford to lose to crap teams.

They need to aim for the 7 seed. Which is embarrassing that we have to rely on the extended playoff format. But in this case, it seems like the playoff changes actually benefit us.
Going to be honest we have a lot of holes still to fill and will have a lot more after this year. Especially with the amount of FA's we have.

1) offensive line has been a consistent issue and this new regime still has yet to address it. Why they went after Richburg is a mystery.

2) Secondary: seems like it's been since the 90's since we've had a threat (well since Harbs teams) but our CB's are brutal. Granted we have nothing but backups but none of our drafted CB'a have panned out. JFC who's the last solid CB the Niners have drafted??? Eric Davis? Safety's are fine.

3) WR's: looks like we finally got a sick set in Deebo and Aiyuk. Throw in Kittle and that's sexy. We need to do a better job in drafting WR's. Too many injuries in this department and too many pussies to be honest too.

4) Kyle : I love Kyle's scheming. Some of the best but he's his own worst enemy. Eventually he'll get it

I think last year was an amazing opportunity to get that SB win. I think it's going to be a long haul until we can get another one. Because right now I don't see us beating the Chiefs at all.

At this point Niners just need to get a ticket to the dance with all the injuries we have been dealing with. Once there, hopefully, we will remind everyone who the defending NFC champs are.

We didn't overachieve last year - we played to our potential.

no one had us going 13-3 with a sb appearance

Hopefully once we get Jimmy G, Raheem, Sherman, Greenlaw, and Deebo can get a little more game experience on his foot and he becomes comfortable, we'll start playing good again.

7 Seed might be better anyway. These guys play better on the road. At home, we are just awful. And no crowds anyway. There's zero advantage to home field this year aside from the bye week, obviously.

Travel too, especially in a COVID-ridden environment. Flying was bad enough before.
