Good to know, but getting him through claimers, if he makes it that far might be a chance worth taking.

The Patriots, a team starving for good wideouts and have the best coaching in the league, are giving up on him. That speaks louder than words to me.

It is hard to imagine any trade that would recoup the draft capital invested in him, based on what he has done to date.

With Sanders now on the team, Pettis will now have a bit more time to bring his game up to the level anticipated by his draft slot. There is no rush at this point.

All of this. They can and should be patient with him. With Sanders onboard, he should see some more favorable coverage matchups as well.

I think a lot of us recalled that especially with Pierre garçon Emmanuel Sanders Tiololo and others. Most of us were saying that's because the system is complicated and if these wide receivers already know the system, it makes the transition that much easier (even if they aren't the best receivers available).

I'm just glad we got one that can get open quickly because we need that with our back up tackles

So when Gordon gets waived from the Patriots short term IR, it says he will go through waiver claims. Do we still hold the number 2 spot due to last years record? If so, it might make sense to claim him, and let him play out this season on our roster. Gordon and Sanders would make a good WR combo, to go with Kittle.

No it changes come week 5 I believe.

Been doing the Josh Gordon talk for what 5 years now. He's not coming.

Waste of time - he's done zero w/Pats and if he can't make it w/their excellent coaching staff - he won't produce anywhere.

I'm sure they'll listen if someone is willing to throw away like 2 years worth of high picks to get him, otherwise you'd be wasting your time calling.

WTF I don't remember Shanahan trying to sign or looked into trading for Joh Gordon? That's a new one for me.
