Game day advice.

I'm going to my first 49ers home game tomorrow (I live in NC). I plan on getting to Santa Clara about two hours before the game. Any advice on place to hangout before the game?

buena vista san jose is a great spot, just bypass santa clara all together untill game day.

Come early and join a tailgate gathering.

It depends if your a 49ers fan or Panthers fan

Hang out? What kind of vibe are you going for? Do you want tailgate experience, fine dining, concession stand, or the kids zone?

I don't know about you, but I'd prefer to walk around the stadium and tailgate parties pre-game. It's almost more fun than the game itself.

Not sure about the sports bar stuff, it's literally in the middle of Great America (theme park) and an industrial tech business area . I'd see if I could by some vip parking on line to get close to stadium. You could probably get it for cheap. They even have packages online where you can buy tailgate food from Michael Menna's (world class chef- literally) in Stadium. It's probably worth it. Like I said spend some time walking around the stadium and tailgate area. Get the feel. The bars are a waste of time and money. Most people are friendly, especially to fellow Niner fans ( opposing teams, not so much).

Just go to a tailgate. Ain't s**t around there. And if you only have two hours, you won't have much time in San Jose where there are cool placed to hang out. You can pay for some tailgates...
