Just finished watching the Sunday night Viking-Boys game. What I came away with was how tough it will be going through the NFC to the SB. Saints, Boys, Vikings, Eagles, Rams, Packers, man, talk about tough.

the only team remotely interesting in that list now , is the Saints. Vikings make playoffs all the time but never finish.
Everyone else is dust now. Eagles wont have wentz with his bad hand. Cowboys are sinking. Rams are out of contention.
Packers lost to Chargers and Niners, with 19 total points.

I would give anything for this to happen - selfishly for my own absolution. I think (contingent on health) the 49ers will beat the Hawks in week 17. I further believe the 49ers would beat the Hawks in the playoffs, regardless of location. The 49ers are the better team, by a not insignificant amount. The 49ers did everything they could to lose the first meeting and still the Hawks barely got the win. Now, let me be clear, I do not think the Hawks are a bad team. Not at all. But, the 49ers are the better team and I always expect the better team to win.

Your not accounting for the injuries we may have. The Hawks are tough whereas we lose 1-2 players a game on average.

We definitely don't want to go up there with half an oline and missing offensive weapons.
How important is this game going to be?
I know it's a few weeks away. I really don't worry about the Seahawks or the 12th man as much as I worry about the men in black and white. The 9ers always seem to get the bad end of the stick up there. The Seahawks have lost 2 games at home this year which is crazy. The 9ers have probably the best coaching since Haurbaugh, maybe even better.

What say you?

Mods, I apologize if this thread it out of line.
I also wanted to add that the Seahawks have a pretty easy schedule left.
If we don't beat the Ravens I think it will decide the 1st seed and division.
One week at a time. No need to get all anxious.
dont get hysterical. If they are one game up and we win last game by 4 points we are still number 1.

The hawks have to get by minn first.

I think you're probably right, week 17 will probably decide the division and a bye...should make for a great game.

lmao at the seahawks having an easy schedule. They still have to go to LA and Carolina. They have to play the Vikings and the Cardinals at home.

That RAms and Cardinals game can go either way. Division games tend to be closer than they should be. The Rams still have a solid squad, and since they are going to be at home, they may have an edge. While AZ would be on the road, they are playing stronger and better football with each passing week.

Minnesota are superbowl favorites and arguably the 2nd best team in the NFC.

The Carolina game may be the easiest game for Seattle BUT going to the east coast isn't a cake walk.

I would rather have their schedule than the 49ers but to say Seattle has an easy schedule is ignorance IMO.

Game 17 will decide who is going to the SB. If the 49ers win, then the SB will go through SF and will probably win throughout. If SEA wins, then they are the superbowl favorites. However, I have a gut feeling that the 49ers will rape SEA in week 17 if this game is played for something important.
Whelp this loss at least takes the pressure off winning in Seattle twice.

Give them the #1 seed then we can lose the week 17 game and hopefully go up there and win in the playoffs.

In a way losing to the Ravens takes all the pressure off beating the saints or seattle again until the playoffs.
We take care of business next week at the Saints & root for the Vikings victory on Monday night & we will be ok. Go 49ers

Definitely...And we need to get that WIN in Seattle!

Man it would be real bad luck if we lost 3 games by a combined 9 points and had to play wildcard weekend and go up the Seattle in the playoffs.

I don't think a team would ever have had so many wins and close games and been forced into that.

Hopefully we take care of business and it doesn't come to that.
I think Seattle loses tomorrow night
Tl Dr;

Seahawks win tomorrow we drop to 5th seed.
