Very curious to see if we shut it down to get rested and healthy the second we lock up a spot.

Not if the BYE and division are in play.
Why are we the only ones that have trouble against the Cardinals?
Niners aren't losing another game this season. 14-2 with the #1 seed

We went 2-0 against them

Really? Why wouldn't the team keep fighting for home field advantage? While this team has the ability to win anywhere, that's a huge advantage especially with the bye.

I need some reasons why the Vikings will win Sunday...please

Seahawks can't stop the Run and the Vikings have the leading rusher in the league in Dalvin Cook. Oh and Diggs and Thielen

Go Vikes!

Our weakness is bird teams, so the Falcons game is another big one lol.

At this point, this needs to happen. I don't think some fans understand how important that bye week is, especially considering that our bye was on week 4 and how much we've been battling injuries
Doesn't it all come down to week 17 regardless?

Even if the Hawks lose to the Vikings and then we lose in Seattle they still win the division because they would have the tiebreaker right?

Who wins if we end up with the same record and win in week 17?

it's ver apparent now. Any team with a bird as their mascot will give the 49ers trouble. Good thing the Falcons don't play the Niners.

I get that but assuming we're both 13-3 who wins? Assuming we drop the saints game and beat them?

We would have both lost to the saints, ravens and then each other once.

I assume then it's strength of schedule?

If we end up tied after Week 17 it would depend on who won Game 17.

If Seahawks win in W17 and the teams are tied afterwards SEA wins tiebreaker because they beat SF twice.

If 49ers win in W17 and the teams are tied afterwards SF wins tiebreaker because they will have 1 less conference loss. Right now 49ers have 1 conference loss (SEA), and SF winning in W17 would give SEA 2 (NO, SF).

Both teams play NFC teams the rest of the way, so it's impossible to go into that game with both teams having the same record after the game and a SF W17 win not giving SF the tiebreaker edge in conference win % over SEA.

EDIT: Scratch that last statement. SF would have one more conference loss if going into SEA behind one game, meaning the tiebreaker would likely go to win % vs. common opponents, or strenght of victory. (See below).

Basically we need to make sure we beat them in Seattle. If we don't then they deserve the division.
