If you would have told this time last year that we'd be here arguing the merits of playoff seeding in December, I would thought you were high as f**k!

I think they can win out but that rams game will be a nail biter.

Not a chance, we embarrassed them in their house...will destroy them in ours. They're a worse team now too, they're reeling, so unless they somehow right the ship I'm not worried at all.

Yes.
Rams and Bears have a small chance, but they have 5 and 6 losses already. Panthers Bucs and Eagles are technically alive for the WC, but with 7 losses all are out with one more loss each for the WC.

Seattle schedule
Vikings at Seattle
Seahawks at Rams
Seahawks at Panthers
Cardinals at Seahawks
49ers at Seahawks
Saints schedule
49ers at Saints
Colts at Saints
Saints at Titans
Saints at Panthers
If we take care of business ourselves by beating the Saints and Seattle we take the number 1 seed, that simple.. Seattle has a tougher schedule then the Saints bc of nfc west division games are toughest

No, if we went 14-2 we would have the number 1 seed

Yeah, at this point the best record a WC team could be is 13-3.
Still ridiculous. Especially because either the Cowboys or Eagles could win the NFC East at 7-9. I actually think it's possible for the Eagles to win their division at 6-10 if they beat Dallas and both the Eagles and Cowboys lose the remainder of all their games.
Hell, that would give the Redskins 2 wins against DAL/PHI down the stretch, and I think they could win the division at 6-10 or 7-9 if that happens.

Screw it, if we get the WC that just means an extra week of getting to watch 49er football

Extra week of rest and not risking any more injuries is a big deal. Plus Being on the road for 3 games vs 2 home games won't really be fun lol. Let's get that bye

Gonna suck to see Seattle placed first in the NFCW tomorrow. And that's only because they're an inferior team to SF.

How are they inferior though? They beat us head to head. They will be the #1 seed if they win. We will be #5 and a wild card team.

I don't know if that's a trick question or not? We played them without George Kittle and what five or six more starters? Dropped 8-9 passes With receivers that shouldn't of been in the game because Emmanuel Sanders was out for almost the whole game. I can't believe I'm repeating this, this should be common sense. Come on man we're much better than them.
They beat a lot of our backups head to head
