100% correct. I'm in AZ surrounded by Cardinal fans that love to give me grief over being a Niner fan. My new favorite thing to say is "you guys are a lot more worried about us than we are about you".

There are also a lot of Seattle and LA transplants out here who hate the Niners. We are the biggest rival for every team inside the division because the Niners are basically the Lakers of football in their minds.

Makes sense, but a tie is not in the Shanny DNA.

For me, I'd rather have a competitive coach that is constantly pushing for the advantage on the field, compared to the pablum we've had after Mooch until now (Harbaugh was the brief exception).

49ers aren't losing another game for the rest of the season, which means Seattle at the very least will go 13-3 (gross)

No need to worry about tiebreakers

mooch crawled into a fetal position vs tampa bay. thus leading to his well deserved firing. now what the team did after that just as they did after jh left was unforgiveable but thats a separate issue

sunday is far far from a gimme. 3 points ether way again. i am done asking help from other teams after monday. we either earn it on our own. time to push your chips into the middle of the table and see what happens

This. Seattle has already sacrificed their first borns to have opposing field goal kickers miss. The formula works and can travel anywhere, as long as this team can have some luck in the health department... no one, not even seattle will want to play them in the playoffs.
