Head to head - Tie 1-1
Division games - Tie 1 loss each
Common Games - Tie both lost to Saints and Ravens.
Conference Games - Tie 2 losses each
Strength of victory - Currently tied at 12 wins for the two teams that are not the same on each other's schedule. Both wins by us and them. We need Packers and Redskins to keep winning. They need Eagles and Vikings to keep winning. That would suck if it came down to this.
Strength of Schedule - Currently tied. Same as above
Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed: We are dominating this category.

I don't think strength of victory will remain a tie. It would really suck if it came down to that tie breaker but likely would in this scenario. This is definitely a must win vs the Saints so there's no possibility of the above occurring. I'll be out there at the Dome on Sunday supporting the team! Hopefully the same thing doesn't occur as the last time I was there when we lost to the Ravens.

Please correct me if I'm wrong about any of the above.

This --> We need Packers and Redskins to keep winning. They need Eagles and Vikings to keep winning... could come down to a tie as well so that would leave it to --> Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed

One game at a time; take care of business.

It's going to be a high scoring game - both teams scoring in the 35-36 point range.

I think you can forget about tiebreakers at this point. Seattle would have to lose 2 games in the next 3 weeks and the niners would have to win 3 for the Seattle game to be meaningless. Not going to happen. The first week of the playoffs is week 17 in Seattle. Loser keeps going, winner gets a break. Either way they are both in.

Yeah could be, but I'm hoping to hold them under 30

Shanny is familiar with their speed and style of play on that turf/dome...he'll be very detail oriented with the preparation and have the troop ready. Saints will get their points/yards, but in the end, I don't think they'll stop us.

35-28, Niners.

It's extra special that the year we're finally good with Shanny is the year we face his old NFC South foes. He knows the dome well indeed.

Pretty much. Just settled for the 5 and be done. So hard to win 4 straight (esp. given the last two) and then go win a few more in the playoffs. Now if we're healthy and not sacrificing bodies and rolling, ride that wave as long as possible.

Seattle currently has the edge here, actually.

Eagles (5-7) + Vikings (8-4) = 13 wins

Packers (9-3) + Redskins (3-9) = 12 wins

We'll see, but this week is going to decide a lot. If the Niners win and Seattle loses at the Rams, then we're back on top of the NFC. We'll see how things go after that!
It's still technically possible for the entire NFC East to be tied at 6-10

Homefield advantage is not really an advantage, when you consider the strength of the NFC. I just care about getting the bye.
