So does Michael want us to start liking him

How "moral" are we? Janoris Jenkins puts us in the Super Bowl.

Is what he tweeted that offensive? It's in another universe from woman-beating.

OK, maybe a bit over the top. I'd rather have a first-rate replacement for Tartt. But we seem to be down a couple corners at the moment, in addition to Tartt. I know Jimmie got dinged up in the New Orleans game as well. No draft choices for Jenkins, we'd just have to get his salary under the cap. Meh, after reading what that is, maybe not. LOL wasted post

Rams are no joke. Probably the only team in the NFC that I really wouldn't want to see in the playoffs

I'd rather play the Rams than at the Seahawks. I really hope we can beat the Seahawks and get rid of that bugaboo before the playoffs start, because if not, we'll need to do it in the playoffs.

I think if things go as expected, we are on a collision course with them. Even if we win the division and Seattle is the 5 seed, the 1 seed plays the lowest remaining seeded team. Seattle should roll on Dallas (or Philly). I do not see whoever the 6 seed is winning in New Orleans if they are the 3 seed. If Green Bay or Minnesota end up as the 3rd seed, then it could be interesting because the 6th seed has a chance of upsetting either of those teams. It could very well be Green Bay and Minnesota in a 3rd matchup. This is honestly shaping up to be one of the best NFC playoffs in a long time. There are four teams I can honestly see going all the way to the Super Bowl depending on how things break.
I think winning the division is basically a necessity to winning a superbowl for us this year.

Week 17 is going to be a dirty trench fight and both teams will come out beaten down and needing rest.

I just have a hard time seeing us going into dallas, into seattle, and into new Orleans or Lambeau, and then having to beat the Ravens or pats on a neutral field as a real possibility after slugging it out in week 17.

Apparently the Playoff Machine has a flaw with the common games tiebreaker. If the Niners lost the next two games but beat Seattle then we win the division due to strength of victory (assuming Washington finishes 4-12, Philly 8-8, New Orleans 12-4, Green Bay 12-4, ATL 6-10).

There's not much margin however, the collective wins for the teams Seattle beat is 88 vs 90 for the Niners.

If New Orleans loses @ Tenn and GB @ Minnesota, or any game for that matter, then we get the #1 at 12-4. If both teams lose more than that, then we'd probably lose the division.

How about we just keep winning and let everyone else worry about tie breakers?

Yep. One game at a time.
