Am I the only one who sees this as likely what's gonna happen?

We'll not only play the Seahawks next Sunday, but we'll play them two weekends later in the divisional round.

How? Here:
1) To make it easy, I'm giving the Packers a victory over Minnesota Monday night. That guarantees Minnesota as the #6 seed, no #5 spot possible;
2) The Seahawks beat the Cards today. That makes us both 12-3 going into next week;
Now,
3) We or the Seahawks will win that game. It won't be a tie. Winner is #1 seed, loser is #5 seed;
4) Wildcard weekend #5 seed (Seattle or us) goes to Philly or Dallas and whoops arse. Minnesota, #6 seed, loses (they haven't beaten anybody decent this year);

BOOM! Divisional round, #5 seed travels to #1 seed. That means Seattle and us again 1/11 or 1/12. Only question is where.

So a 3 way tie looks very realistic for 13-3 teams

1- who owns the tiebreaker between us packers and saints and who would be #2 seed in that scenario?

2- same question but seahawks instead of us?

3- who would be the 2 seed if packers and saints each win 1 and lose 1?

1-Niners #1, Packers #2, Saints #3 (Pack would have better conference record)

2-Seahawks #1, Packers #2, Saints #3

3-Depends on which games they win and lose. If the Pack lose their conference record tiebreaker advantage, then it would go to Strength of Victory. Then it would be #2 Saints, #3 Packers. If Pack keeps conference record advantage, it's #2 Pack, #3 Saints

Thanks!

Safe to say next Sunday Night is our biggest game since that horrible 4th quarter by kaepernick in that same place

Unless Green Bay drops a game and it's Seattle and New Orleans.....then I think NO is the #1 seed. But it's very possible Seattle and SF face off again in the playoffs. I'd like the 49ers chances if they were the Division winner.

We the Cards have turned up for a game. Drake just ran for an 80 yard td to even it up with the Toots in the 1st Q.

Looking like it will be a good game.

2 weeks of rest would be huge
It's crazy that we would drop to the #6 seed if we lose next week, and the Vikings win their next two games.

No biggie though, we would get to go to the Saints...if we beat Green Bay at their house home.

Where as the Vikes or Eagles would have to go to Seattle.

If the Packers win tomorrow, and we lose next week...that gives us a small chance to still get the Divisional game at home, if the Vikings win two playoff games on the road. We would just have to beat the Eagles and maybe the Saints at their house.

Obviously ALL s**t doesn't matter if we could do with the Cards did today... what we did last year with Nick Mullens... go to Seattle and play our game and win. Edit-whoops wrong, we beat them at home.

#1 seed is so important because of who else is in the playoffs this year... with the chance of not having to go to Seattle and Green Bay in mid January.

Cards just gave us a gift, better not waste it!
