Yes. We will never truly exorcise the demons of the 2013 NFCCG until we knock them out in a playoff game.

Woke up Christmas morning realizing if we beat the Seahawks we will likely host them in 2 weeks in Santa Clara. I guess anything could happen, and hosting a banged up but gritty Seattle team would probably be the best scenario of the 4 teams left in the NFC. Hoping Kittle is the X factor since we didn't have him on MNF and I think all the "luck" Seattle had earlier in the year is naturally being corrected by the football gods with all their injuries.

If a banged up Seahwaks teams goes to Philly and loses.
We play Philly and handle them.
Then the Packers beat Saints at a mega-snowy Lambo that extinguishes the Saints pass game.
A-Rod would be coming back to Nor Cal for the NFC Championship game.
This is the absolute BEST CASE scenario for the Niners and could happen.

No matter how the seeding plays out the saints and niners will flush out the pretenders and will meet again in the nfc championship game and i dont know who will win but it will be another epic game home or away.

That could happen, but GB is garbage, I wouldn't pick them against anyone, let alone the Saints no matter where the game was played.
That being said, anything can happen in the playoffs, just as you point out.

Its weird reading the Saints message board...they somehow think they 'solved' the 49ers defense and that we are now exposed to everyone. Do they not understand the massive accumulation of injuries and how that dramatically changed things? Clearly they are only paying attention to headlines and not reality. Alexander, Ford, Blair, Jones...if their 'D' lost 4 big contributors the equivalent of what we did (Ford as an elite speed rusher, Jones as our best run defender, Qwon's speed and leadership, and Blair as an excellent rotational player) how bad would their 'D' look right now?

Of course I highly doubt it will be the Patriots unless Lamar gets injured.

I'll never count out the Pats as long as Bellichick and Brady are on that team especially when theyre seeing a team for the 2nd time.

Lamar won't get injured, but somehow the Patriots will know every single play BAL calls.

Dont read to much into that. We have alot of knowledgeable saints fans but just as many that arent lol.

No worries, and I know there are a lot of Saints fans who are very well informed. It just seemed like there was a little bit of a gap as to the 'why' of our defensive slide. Credit to the Saints for doing a great job against the 'D' as well though.

You can never count the Patriots out, but they have lost to every other division leader in the AFC this year. Brady looks old without Gronk, and they have no WRs. Their D is carrying them.
