If Sanders is out and Kittle isn't 100 percent then not sure about Jan there bud. Huge danger of this going sideways.

Sanders should be out a couple games I'm guessing. We lose our #1 wr for the ari and GB game. Maybe Kittle comes back next week against ARI? But going forward, teams will stack the box knowing jimmy might or might not beat them with our non-scary wr corps. It is a concern going forward and winning the division might be in the rear view mirror if Seattle keeps playing like they did last night. Our schedule looks harder than theirs, IMO.

I think Sanders will be out for a while. Kittle might be back, but we'll see if he is a 100%. Bottom line is, if either Kittle or Sanders aren't healthy, this offense is royally screwed, especially against the back half of the season.

You can't just rely on a running game. Seattle just stacked the box and played press man coverage. You think they cared?

Yes, the defense is elite and will keep us in games. But much like the Harbaugh years, you can't rely on the defense to keep bailing you out.

100%! You rely on the elite D to get your offense the ball to score. If your offense cant score consistently, what's the point if an elite D? Reminds me of Chicago sort of.
the seahawks just gave the blueprint to the league on how to play us.
stack the box and sell out to stop the run.
if we don't have E Sanders or Kittle, our offense will struggle to score points.

yup, its a concern, the next game versus the Cardinals will show what this team is about.
It's one loss that came down to 1 second on the clock in overtime...the sky isn't falling chicken littles.

Dude, teams have been doing this to SF all yr....they didn't do anything different regardless of what Booger said on MNF. We see more stacked boxes then anyone, been that way. Our WRs needed to step up, they didn't. Our OL needed to pass-block better, they did not. Kyle needed to call quick pass plays, screens, move Jimmy around...he did not.

SF was depleted of talent this game. Seattle needed YET another missed FG to beat a team. That s**t is good with Gould, we win if Kittle plays, we more than likely win if Sanders plays.

I believe this is exactly what ARI did couple weeks ago and almost lost. Oh and we play them again this weekend . Our D will get their stops but the offense needs to do their part regardless of Sanders or Kittle is playing but I'm hoping to good at least one does. This reminding me of the Harbaugh era except we're supposed to have an elite offense with shanny.

Most concerning thing to me was Kyle's late game play calling. We all remember how the Falcons lost the Super Bowl and similar mistakes last night.
Allowing Seattle to get the ball back at the end of OT was an unforgivable error. They needed to win- a tie ( while disappointing) would have left us with 2 fewer losses than seattle with 7 games left.
Also, the 2nd and 3rd down plays before the missed field goal were awful. You need to try to get the rookie kicker a bit closer. Kyle set him up for failure, then the him under the bus with his post game comment. " I thought we got him close enough".
Lost a ton of faith is Kyle tonight
Seahawks still have some tough games ahead. They have a bye next week but then have to travel to Philadelphia, then back home to play the Vikings. Then back on the road against the Panthers and Rams.

The hot takes have been great.

just some mid season drama to screw gamblers, is all this game was. Seattle wont matter when playoffs start.
Niners are fine.
Niners already beat Pitt and Bucs, whom the Rams lost to. Rams are done

why won't seattle matter when playoffs start?

Road to SB may very well go thru Sea....
I was trying to figure out the path to #1 or #2 seed, and I wanted to see if I figured this right. This is assuming Seattle wins out, which looking at their schedule is probably better than 50/50.

Obviously if we win all our games we get #1.

If we drop 1, we'd have the same record as Seattle going into week 17 and the final game is to decide the division and #1 or #2.

If we drop 2, Seattle game is also for the division and #1 or #2 but here is where it gets confusing with the tie breakers. I think we tie all the way down to strength of schedule, which I would think we have the advantage there but am not sure.

I think it's possible we also win the remainder of our games, but our chances of that are lower than the Hawks because of the next 2 games.

Most likely that last game will be to decide a 1st round bye or wild card...yuck.

I'm going to be rooting hard for the Panthers when they host the Hawks, seems like the most likely game for Seattle to drop. Rams aren't beating anyone lol.

Minnesota this week has a lot to play for in Seattle.

After gifting them two game changing turnovers and missing our own game winning field goal. With no kittle or sanders. We're fine.

It figures that it's our luck that the year we are going 10-1, all these other NFC teams are having good years too, but I almost think it's better because it forces us to keep the foot on the pedal and keeps a necessity to play at a high level just to keep pace. That can only help us in the long term.
