Cool story. Why do you watch football if the result is predetermined?

While I do think he's thinking a bit out there, this would be like saying "why do you bother watching a movie when the ending is already written?"

Lol, watch out for the UFOs tonight as well.

One has nothing to do with the other.
the nfl is a billion dollar entertainment business. UFOs are fake crap.

In a nutshell, Cardinals will be playing backyard football tonight.

Kyler Murray is not going to stand in the pocket, he is going to try to frustrate the 9ers' D-line by running out of the pocket right from the snap whereby hoping the pass rush will never get there.

He will run to get yards. But, the passing game will be like Russell Wilson's earlier years. In other words, just get a bunch of WRs to run downfield to get open. Murray will run to escape from the D and throw on the run hoping to make huge chunk plays.

But, will that succeed? May be the 9ers' pass rush is still too fast for Murray? The key is you cannot let him to get passed the 2nd level even if he can escape from the D-line. So, linebacker play could be crucial in this game.

On the other side of the ball, the Cards' D is straight trash. 29th in Total D, 29th in Passing D and 25th in Rushing D. That should allow the 9ers to do a lot of things, both pass and run.

Let's go 9ers!!

Ok, no. It's not. Anything like that. The NFL doesn't predetermine winners. Period.

I'm just saying he can believe games are predetermined and still have an interest in watching them

I think he's crazy, but he's allowed to believe that and still watch if he wants to.

Well how about 1000's of employee's who've lost their jobs and made huge family sacrifices for some big conspiracy that nobody talks about.

I 100% agree games aren't fixed because there's just no way everybody can be in on something like that.

I'm just saying "why do you still watch the games if you believe they're predetermined? " isn't an appropriate question.

the nfl classifies itself as entertainment. not competitive /competition business.
youre being short sighted and not open minded.
you have nothing to prove your claim, just a belief. I have a million bad calls right in front of the world and unrealistic endings week after week.
theyve been doing it since before tv was invented. Rooney, Halas,Bidwill and others all had mafia/bookie connections. No game has ever been honest
I didn't think it was possible but I've gotten dumber

Ah yes, going onto a football fan forum, however, and stating that the game everyone is Getting excited to watch is fixed is appropriate. Gotcha.

I am assuming you have mortgaged your house and bet everything you own on the Cardinals winning tonight then, right? Good luck.

True, wasn't really responding to you but the OP. I would say there's is a ton of wrestling fans, but that falls more under a performance than a sports event.
